Good post unique1. I remember how hard it was for me to come out of the borg. I feel sorry for the gay witnesses who not only have to come out of the JW but have to come out of the closet. My cousin was gay and he sufferd quite a bit.

By far, the most annoying song is "we are Jehovah's Witnesses" becasue they speak out in fearlessness.. If they'd shut the blank up every once in a while they'd learn a lot more than when they're speaking out in fearlessness.

Too bad they ruin their message by promoting their own false religion. I see little difference between christian faiths and the JWs. I'm still questioning why many of you chose to return to a some other religion after being browbeat by the JWs all your lives. I can only be fooled once

Anyone else refuse(ing) to go to the memorial?
by Dune ini'm pretty sure that if i went today, it would give me yet another 6 months of peace at home.
but...i simply refuse to go to anymore witness events.
i talked to an ex-witness friend and she told me that even though she's df'ed and doesnt believe in the religion, the 'event' is only 45 minutes and doesnt see why i shouldnt go.
