our son is married to a jw girl, and is slowing being sucked into the cult himself.

he knows we appose this organization and have tried to show him the falsehoods of the wts.

my question is: if he has told the elders at his kh about us (that we're against the wts)......do the elders tell him to limit his association with us??

infamous one is right lavender... remember all thoughts have merit so how you approach this situation is extremly important. Alpahomega sent me something to put on my tee shirt the other day. a WT quoite where they were saying that obeidence to the WT is the same as to christ... that is blasphemy to any Christian... tell your son you're interested in the truth and ask him to show you in hte bible where it says that... then ease into the 607 thing or somehting like that. Of course you know the best way, it's your son. but I'd say it couldn't hurt to ask these guys that post here for ideas.... they know thousands of ways to skin a cat... see the difference between us her and witnesses, we realy on each other to seer a stright path, thjey cut off opinions? Use the Aristole method, ask questions that you know will lead to doubt.. ask them sincerly, like you really just want to know.

as many of you know, i've been writing letters to family members telling them how damn stupid i think the gb is; providing proofs of all their comedic gaffs (building mansions for prophets and the like) including some of their most outlandish quotes-which i know all of us can remember verbatim.

spurned on by mary and others in this site, i've decided that i will try a new ploy.

my family reunion is every labor day and i've decided to wear a tee shirt to it with russell, rutherford, and franz's images on it... i will include images of a pyramid, beth sarim, on the front and 607?

I told my parents I no longer believe the Watchtower Society

they insisted i come over for a debate, a chance for them to save me since according to my mother this was "a matter of life and death.

" basically i spent the whole evening passively nodding my head and acknowledging what they said.

i tried a few times to argue or debate but getting through to them was impossible.

Damn right her kindness was an act... be absolutely freaking clear on that one my friend lavender. She saw the chance for a new convert and that is ALL... MAn, you've got to stop this madness before you son has kids... God, what can you do? I do NOT want to see the love you have for your son hampered in any way. Do you think it may be wise to set a meeting with him, amke up pamphlets with the pertinent information... I mean 607, 1914, Beth Sarim, everything? I don't know but I don't like what I'm seeing here and I TRULY don't want to see you in a bad place.

all witnesses are told to avoid the world... you are the world yet family. I think that is left up to a person's individual conscience. But you can bet that he may in fact limit association out of obligation, fear, peer pressure. He'll still talk to yuo and associate in all probability becasure the idiots haven't resorted to disfellowshipment for this crime quite yet.

several times since 1996 their literature has referenced the book darwin's black box by michael behe, which book has become a kind of bible for iders.

the book introduces the notion of "irreducible complexity" in a formal way as disprove of evolution.

I love it when someone thinks people he hasn't ever met are below him intellectually. I have a slight form of dislexia so i have to struggle on... but Runningman makes me laugh when he thinks others are below him... get back to us stupid idiots when you find the cure for cancer Runningman, other than that, you're just like everyone of us... probably bright in a lot of ways, but obviously challenged in others. Nothing makes me happier than to see someone think they're superior, I see that everyday here on campus at UGA. I can say for a fact that the ones with that line of thinking are almost always the worst students... you'd make a great frat boy runningman.
