by Ex-smoker inrecently i havnt been minding the meetings so much cause i have a new phone and a bluetooth headset.
it gives me the ability to listen to music and no ones the wiser.
meetings go by really fast now.

An attempt at reconciliation.
by AK - Jeff inmy cousin - who was also my best friend for 35 years have been involved in an email exchange in recent weeks.
previous to that he was mostly shunning me.
without getting into details, he had given me room to explain things, especially as to how i have 'changed' as a result of leaving.

among the relief work, the witnesses jumped in to help, mainly their own.
before i was even baptized i headed down with a group of "brothers" to join in the relief work.

on august 4th of 2008 at approximately 8:00-8:10am i was coming from the front office after receiving a green sheet for being absent on thursday, july 31st 2008. i was passing the women's restroom on my way back to class, when i saw steve walking the barren hallways.
he didn't notice me since i was walking far behind him.

I admire your humility, but in this case it isn't needed.. what he did, as you have written, is flat out wrong...
He will do it again as predators always do...he must be punished! Period! Not just in his record, as the school will no doubt keep from the civil authorities, which is the very reason you must speak up...
I know this may embarrass you, and as a man I can't say that I completely understand this, I can't say what I may do in the same situation as I have nothing to compare it to.... but as a gender that has powers that are less physically than a man's, you must do this for those that follow...It can't be kept private and from the civil authorities.

i just had a horrible experience with an instructor of mine..........crossed the line............he grabbed my chest in school yesterday.. .
i have already let the head of the department know what happened and is 100% behind me on whatever i choose to do about it.. here is the thing................the instructor that grabbed me is a pastor in the catholic church............he recognized me from the net......from doing research on sex abuse in other religions.. anyone who knows who i am is very familiar with the fact i don't hide who i am at all.

My college roommate was/is so funny... when I first got out I was so damn green, and I lived with a lady's man to beat the band! He always said, well Simon may not want me to post that, but to put it into layman's terms... a man was made for a woman... if you know what I mean? LOL!
So, his motto was to get as much loving as possible, and before long, that was my motto also!

by behemot ini'm considering getting from the library albert schweitzer's the quest of the historical jesus.
a critical study of its progress from reimarus to wrede (1906)and roland de vaux's ancient israel volume 1: social institutions (1958) and volume 2: religious institutions (1960).. i'm aware that biblical studies have gone a long way since these two (already classic) works were written, but i was wondering whether they are still worth reading or have become in the meantime completely outdated.. anybody read them?
