I have a tenancy to agree with the last two posters. Paul wasn't at all like the Christ. He has an agenda, and maybe Satan did win after all.

You guys have got to see this! Paul the heretic.
by dawg ini hope some of you will take a moment and read this.
i've been saying for some time now that the new testament is suspect... in that none of the writings can be clearly attributed to the so called "gospel" writers... .
even with all that, i've never considered paul to be anything more than an nut case.

Maybe this Michelle...
1 Corinthians 14:34-35 "Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak... And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home."
Or this...
1 Timothy 2:13-15 "For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. Yet she will be saved through childbearing, provided [she] continue in faith and love and holiness, with modesty."
There are many more but you can rummage all through the NT and see Paul's teachings contradict Jesus. Show me once where Jesus said to not talk to sinners for instance. -

No problem Ships. after I did follow up, I also see very little reason to trust this man-I agree with you all the way. I'm still researching Paul, I find his teachings suspect in that he sounds opposite of the Christ. We all know Paul's history-its been an interesting morning.

In all fairness, I just finished Clement's writings, he seems to view Paul as an apostle... My mistake.

A practical lesson on shunning.
by strawberry cake intoday i decided to visit a friend of mine who i met when she was my study.
(she has no intentions of making a commitment, but still continues studying with old pioneer 'friends' of mine.
well it just so happens that these 2 sisters were there.

"How awful this must be for those whose family have rejected them"
You ain't kidding here.
But I've decided to call all shunners out. I say out loud, these people are JWs and are shunning me because I disagree with their doctrines. That way they'll feel shame. -

#4 talk this week, on what to say when JW's are called false prophets
by DaCheech ini was ready to pee in my pants, seeing that this talk was going to blow the lid off.. well, the brother did admit that "we" have made predictions that did not come true.. but, he excused the watchtower saying that many religions, make false prediction.. only jw's show the fruits of god's people.. amongst many reasons, this circular jw reasoning made us look like we are the shining star of the world.

How can they continue this charade? I mean, really?
