  the more i read the comments made by jw who still "believe" in the doctrines of the wt the more i see that they are in denial.

  first off they debate on a board they are not even supposed to be on, they are going directly against the gb counsel.

  when they debate they do not give the actual wt doctrine as an example they give their own personal opinion, their own interpretation a watered down version of the doctrine to make it look better, less aggressive.

  Well as for the above yes its nice for them to warn us but its not unscriptual and the warning has been heeded.

  Its one thing chatting on here and quite another mixing with people who continually attack Jehovah,i havent seen or heard any of you do that.Yes many have spoken through their pain,and i dont mean that in a patranising way...I feel your pain and wish to share it as to lighten your load,not meaning that in a preaching way but as a caring person to another

  You both have great arguments but I must ask again and please answer honestly, do you really think that these arguments would work on a elder? Try it I would be very curious to see the outcome. I would like to know if you would be comfortable telling the elders that you come here.

  The point is you are debating not only with me but against the GB's warnings and doctrine.

  I think what they don't understand is that what "official WT policy" is and what is actually happening in reality are two ENTIRELY different things.

  I agree with them, that the WTS teaches love and not judging.

  Yes a lot do not know what the "official WT policy" is or are just in denial. They teach the rank and file not to judge but the elders have the right to, they do teach love but they also redefine what loves is.

  but if thats the case then i have to disagree,this site has some jw still and not everyone on here is apostate....if i know of a few on here then why would i judge you all the same? Im here to make friends and have nice chats with them :)

  That's very nice of you but... according to the WT yo can be DF for having a conversation with the likes of me and others who are "apostates"

  You see angel eyes (cool name BTW) the GB is very clear about discussion boards like this one, like bluecanary asked would you feel comfortable telling the elders you visit this site? What do you think their reaction would be?

This is not the WT way, this is not the JW religion, you are creating your own version so you are also apostates. In JW land you are for or against, if you do not fully accept the teachings of the GB your are no longer a JW in the eyes of Jehovah because he uses the WT to talk to his people on earth, if you go against the GB you go against god.

  I also suggest you go with carbon steel, you just need to oil them because the higher the carbon the more it rust, of course you probably know this.

  My Boyfriend's not a Witness...

  alright, with my last post it should be obvious i'm in conflict...if it's not, then yeah.. my boyfriend is not a witness.

  he understands that witnesses can't marry or date non witnesses.

  but i guess could say we've been stalling...looking for a solution a gray area to that black and white situation...but with time getting as it is...stalling doesn't work anymore.

  Hi. If you really believe in the WT doctrine I suggest you break up with him, he is going to be destroyed at the big A and even if he did convert it would not be for the good reasons so he is going to die anyways. If you really believe int the WT you should stop school and be a pioneer or a missionary because the end is so near and their is a lot of people to save. You should not follow your heart the bible says that the heart is not to be trusted. What are you doing on this website? The GB warns you about the dangers of the Internet. If you would have listen to the GB in the first place you would not be in this situation. Go to the elders and seek their counsel for that they can pour oil on your wounds and god will forgive you.

  Then again the bible is not the word of god and you have nothing to worry about.

  JW hijacked sisters my wedding

  just a few months ago my little jw sister got married at 19. i remember how excited she was when she started planning the wedding.

  both she and her partner made it clear that there were lots of none jw's present (myself included) so it was not to be a "theocratic" event.

  none of those stupid plays or performances.

  I have been married for almost 12 years now, I was 21 and my wife was 19. We have a 13 month little girl now and we are very happy. At our wedding it was very clear and no body messed around. I got married in my kilt, at first the elders were not to sure and I told them my wedding my rules and if you what to be there you better accept that fact. We had scottish music and dance everybody had fun because they said it was different.

  If your sister does not want people walking all over her for the rest of her life she is going to have to learn to stand up for herself. I hope she will be happy with her husband.

  JW's on Facebook seem like happy people

  i just recently got a facebook page and started to look up some old jw friends (im a long time fader).

  i see there pictures and comments and feel kinda jealous that they all look happy (im in a rough stage in my life).

  i never was happy as a jw, and since i faded i am more comfortable in my own skin....the future looks bright for me.
