What JW apologist do not understand.
by Anti-Christ inthe more i read the comments made by jw who still "believe" in the doctrines of the wt the more i see that they are in denial.
first off they debate on a board they are not even supposed to be on, they are going directly against the gb counsel.
when they debate they do not give the actual wt doctrine as an example they give their own personal opinion, their own interpretation a watered down version of the doctrine to make it look better, less aggressive.

All the WT rules makes me laugh, it's so pathetic. I advise like the rest don't play their games.

Should JWs in banned lands be going underground?
by cognac inon the one hand, daniel still worshipped god the way he was before when it was law that he wasn't supposed to.
on the other hand, it is said in the greek scriptures to flee the land if people go against you when preaching.. so, to me this would mean that jws should go to where people would be receptive to the message if they can.
however, if they jws don't flee the city then they should follow as daniel and continue what they were doing before - publicly going from house to house and to the meetings.

That's a good point AK, they teach "love" but they have their own definition of "love", it's more love the org. above all that's the kind of love they teach.

Angel eyes I really appreciate your input, I don't want to be nagging but do you believe that the only way to please Jehovah is to be in the WT org.?

Apostates and the "AXE TO GRIND:" getting sick of the aggro.
by hamsterbait indoes anybody else get mad, when something rotten in the borg is exposed, and witless apologists question the motive of the whistleblower?.
"they must be an evil apostate filled with anger and an axe to grind" they say.. why can they never admit that some people believe that the wtbts is truly dangerous and evil - they are not speaking up about the facts they know because they are evil resentful apostates, but they truly want to protect the public.. they refuse to acquiesce in evil and want to stand up for what they believe to be right, not just as an anti-jw knee jerk reflex.
do jws honestly think that nobody but them has good motives for exposing religious hypocrisy - including that of the witchtower?.

I agree Angel eyes sounds like a nice person.
I don't like labels myself but in order to define an attitude it must be used. Back to the topic, what I'm going for here is why waist your time with a religion you do not fully accept? I understand that not all of it is bad but why call yourself a JW when you don't agree with the doctrines 100%? Can you call yourself a vegetarian if you eat fish? A religion defines itself by it's doctrine, if you don't accept the doctrine you don't accept the religion cause the religion is the doctrine.

I might be letting the cat out of the bag here, but I think some of the "JW" posters here have some very... deep-seated... issues...
Yes that's the point..denial.
