  I tell you, the same one who told Adam and Eve that they can be like God by eating the forbidden fruit!

  I find that intresting. You see if it was not for "satan" mankind would not have had the chance to become like god. Acording to the bible some humans will be given immortal bodies in heaven and will be given thrones.Now corect me if I'm wrong but I was told the thing about the tree of knowledge was a free will issue. Humans where created with the ability to "sin" becuase of free will. So my question is the humans who are resurected incorruptible, that means incapable of sining, do they lose their free will? And does god have free will if he also can not sin?

  so, you are starting to leave the cult.

  you begin to meet new people and instead of viewing them all as 'bad association', you begin to view them as fellow humans.

  I find "wordly"people to be more authentic, I was amaze at how comfortable I felt arownd them. Now when I with my old jaydub "friends" I always feel juged by them and they always make assumptions about me. It's like there trying to find something wrong with me. They always make comments on how I look( I have long hair and sometimes I have a beard). Most of the time they don't know what to say to me. So I much rather spend time with my "wordly" friends.

  my cousin has left the borg, all on his own and he sounds like a recording of me!

  i'm no longer alone after 17 years; now i have someone to talk to and his experiences are alot like mine.

  to think, he refused to talk to me for over 17 years!

  OK now, I'm really an apostate

  so, i go to my jw uncle's funeral for obvious reasons!

  after the funeral my family invites me to dinner, something we haven't done for some time (probably 8 years or so) as i'm considered disassociated not disfellowshipped.

  i guess this is allowed per the new jw policy but since that crap changes from time to time i'm not sure.

  If you declare to a village of midgets that being under 6 feet tall is a crime punishable by death you can convict them and execute them, of course. But, you do not, in the process hold the law or the legislature out as a paragon of virture, intelligence or admiration in so doing.

  Stepping in at the public execution of midgets and stopping their deaths does not, by the same token, make you--(the framer of law)--a hero!

  That is a great example I hope you don't mind if I borrow it?
