rude people at the door

why you were part of the jw faith and you were by yourself at a persons door ,who was really rude toward you, did you ever say anything nasty back instead of saying have a nice day?

also did you ever want to just knock someone out?

any experiences or thoughts of what you wanted to do?

I can remember wanting to knock out my field service partners.

Yea, that would happen many times with me too. The things they would say sometimes! Man they were a lot of stupid ones!

Carload of jw's shunned us today...and it was priceless!!!

we were in a carpark and the only space available was next to a carload of witnesses.

so we parked!

in it was 3 out of the 5 local elders, and 1 of their wives.

i never really agreed on their explanation of divine justice.

if you are a homicidal maniac, rapist or if you simply don't go to the jw's meetings, your are going to be hurled in the lake of fire.

i think i'm going to ask some of my jw "friends" what they think about that.

I know they are dead wrong, I just never really ask any of theme how they explain it or accept it as being justice, because I think it's a pretty fu&*$# kind of justice to me.

I will ask the same question I have asked before, can god, Jesus (now that he is immortal ) and the reserected ones in haven do evil things?

does a school yard bully attitude take over this discussion board?growing up, i can recall such times when a rival would want to pick a fight .

with me and when we met, he would bring along two of his friends and i .

sometimes, i would knock their block off and sometimes, it was the other.

I for one enjoy a good fight, battle of wits, or struggle. It is exciting and helps to shed pent up frustration. We don't come here just to massage each others belief system. We come here to test our own beliefs and views in the arena of debate.

I agree, I have changed some of my views on thing since I have bean here but I do believe in respect and I find that you ( The wanderer ) are a gentleman. I don't take "attacks" personal, I know that nobody here really knows who I am, they are just "attacking" what I'm saying. I think that "bully's" can be found on both sides, believers and non believers, the difference with some bible believers is that they believe that the non believer will be punished for there belief.

in view of the breathtaking mistakes made by the governing body in the last 10 years, the time has come for all with influence in or out of the organization of jehovah's witnesses to ask for the resignation of the entire governing body.

<br>in the past 5 years alone, we have seen the defacto president of the watchtower society, theodore jarascz, dismiss reporters from the bbc without addressing their questions about sex abuse; they have denied repeatedly that there is a problem in the 2 witness to sex abuse policy; they have arranged the excommunication of whistleblowers in the organization, implying that they are spiritually deficient or worse.

<br>thousands of members of this fellowship have been sexually abused by family or friends in the group, only to be told that it didn't happen, that they misunderstood it, and if they could not produce a second witness or the accused confessed, they were told that they must be silent or face shunning.

The way I'm getting some progress done is getting the word out to the non-JW. They are not under the mind control of the WT so I think it's a good way to "immunises" them. The more you inform people about cults, the less people join them. Eventually the GB will do something REALY stupid and that will be the end of that. Wen something becomes to powerful it becomes arrogant and wen you become arrogant you make mistakes. They have already made a lot of mistakes and they have gotten away with it but I think eventually they will dig their own grave. I think they have already started...

Bible infallible?

i am wondering how many of the folks on this site believe that the bible is the infallible word of god.

I believe that it is true in its basic principles and history but it would be too much to say that it is totally infallible since it was written by humans and copied and recopied numerous times before coming to us.

Hi greendawn, just a question, it's not an attack, just a question. How do you know what's true and what's not? If it's not infallible how do you know what are basic principles because if the bible can't get it right on the little things how do you know it got it right on the big things?
