One word - Blasphemy
I agree and I'm not even a believer.
just came across this at http://www.courierpostonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?aid=2007706090311.
posted by a jw calling themselves "kudra" .
no, "the christ" is not jesus, as we jehovah's witnesses believe (in the context of our convention title) so we would not just say "jesus".

anyone here master the art of pressing in the doorbell without really pressing it?
how about knocking where it seems loud on the outside, but you know it can't be heard on the inside.
or standing at a door for up to 5 minutes when you know nobody was there.
It goes to show you that the reporting time thing is all about prestige and control.
how many baptized witnesses were told that they could not be baptized until they had served for a time as unbaptized publishers?
is there an actual scriptural basis for this, or is just another law made up by the org?
why are some not asked to serve as unbaptized publishers before baptism?
Btw, I don't think a women must remain silent in the congregation

They could prevent you from getting baptised if you have long hair, beard, don't dress in a "appropriate" way, if you don't answer at the book or WT study, if you don't go to meetings, etc.... None of that is scriptural, well maybe the long hair but in the same book of the bible it says that a women must remain silent in the congregation and they don't follow that.
are there any threads regarding the documentary entilted "deliver us from evil"?
I just watch the trailer, man that looks Fu* up, I'll try to watch it. Looks very controversial.
#1, 1 cor 10:9. the nwt translation puts the word jehovah in place for christ.
yet, when using the kit greek,my greek, and a online greek bible, christos is written in the chapter, and not jehovah....yet many jws will argue up and down that jehovah is to be there....dispite the fact that the greek word for jehovah was never even used.
how can one logically argue that christ is not suppose to be there, when their won greek translation has it in there??
1 Cor 10:19. The NWT translation puts the word Jehovah in place for Christ.
I think you mean 1Cor 10:9, but that's a good one dude I just looked it up in my interlinear Greek bible, thanks I did not know that one.
first couple of videos are clips from the movie last 2 opinions about the movie.

Holy sh&*t man !!! I literally felt sick watching that
i was listening to a song today by rush.
i had heard the song a few times before, but today i really listened closely to the lyrics.
i read the lyrics off of the cd jacket and the words remind me so much of how i felt in the watchtower organization - never being allowed to ask serious questions or raise any kinds of objections to organizational practices.
