There is no way she's the Madonna of today, used to like Madge back in the day, but can't f*ing stand her now, so I guess add her to the list also

I never understood all the hoopla for the Beatles either, and I remember watching their first appearance on the Sullivan show, Never understood all the hoopla for Lennon either. Dylan and Neil Young totally don't get them either.
Beatles or The Stones? - Stones all the way ! ! !
i often hear this phrase "i respect a person's beliefs" on here and elsewhere, but i feel strongly that you should not.. i know that sometimes people mean by that phrase that they respect the right of a person to hold silly beliefs if they want to, but if that is so, say so.. if a person's beliefs are unsupportable, perhaps looney, perhaps downright dangerous, murderous, like the jw blood doctrine, such beliefs deserve no respect at all.. the person holding them we can show respect to by telling them in a gentle, and polite way that their beliefs are a pile of steaming poo, but we should not show respect for the beliefs, even by the simple act of remaining silent.. "to tell the truth as you see it is a wonderful thing" john lydon ("johnny rotten" late of the sex pistols, and now p. i. ltd).
This reminds of what my mother used to say in the door to door work, she would tell that person "we're not here to change your beliefs" . . .then what the heck are the Dubs doing every morning knocking on doors if they're not in the recruiting business ! ! THey lie directly to the persons face at the first meeting whether they're recepive or not!
She has "Tanorexia", much like George Hamilton but he's not that burnt. They interviewed her husband and he's not tanned so, I wonder what his issue is if he's attracted to a woman like that ?

it suggests that the gb has asked black sisters to go natural with their hair..
I wonder if all the black sisters are stocking up on their creamy crack for after Armageddon? Or are they planning to loot all the beauty supply stores after the Big A ?
Don't think the Captchas just on this site are difficult, no matter where you sign in and get the Captchas it's difficult, I can usually read my computer without glasses but when I get a Captcha, it's glasses plus putting my nose just about up on the screen to try to figure out what the heck all those letters are saying.
i knew a sister in my old congregation that had two sons and i actually studied with one.
i left the org, went back to college, new job etc.
then i ran into her about ten years later at a store.
Haven't been to the KH in more than 20 years, but don't I remember them setting some kind of cut off date back then if there was no progression in the person studying? Friend of mine had a study forever, while she was still living with her boyfriend, then the so-called cut off period was announced and she stopped the study.
if any of us forgot just how thick the average jehovah's witness can be, here's a little story.. my friend, a 28 year old jw, got into an accident about a year ago.
she hit a horse and killed it, wrecking her car.
she told everyone she knew that it was pitch black and she couldn't see the horse until the last second.
Why hasn't her license been revoked, sounds like it should've been. The girl just can't drive

Believe it or not Designs, there are plenty of trees in my neighborhood, I don't live in Manhattan where trees are scarce, except for Central Park I live in Queens, and actually grew up in a house with a backyard that had an apple tree !

Well I'm a born and bred New Yorker so you can guess where I stand on camping out in the wilderness
I've been told that some campground do have some toilets set up but the stench is nauseating.
and another thing about camping, no place to plug in the TV, have no desire to stare at fellow campers till bedtime, wake up, then stare at them again.
