My Jimi Hendrix experience

as a 13 year old a friend of mine had a jimi hendrix record and told me if we play it backwards that they said words.

he bought the record from a shop not far from where we lived and we were the only family that still had a record player.

so we played the record and i spun it backwards andnothing happened.

Laverite, thanks for the laugh, I'm sure my neighbor heard me laughing too, I think my mother and your father would be in a two way tie as to who was actually worse about playing music. 99.9 percent of the time I would listen to the radio or even watch a channel on TV with music she would say "I don't like that beat, that worldy beat" I'd either turn it down or have to change the channel. Tell me, how many songs do you know of that don't have a beat to them.

Still laughing at that "take your pants down", you never busted out laughing in his face when he said that?

New York Bethel Bus Trip & MET Tour

have any of you been on this tour before ... specifically the met tour?.

some of my family went on this trip recently and everyone i know that has gone on it before has been "blown away" by the special witness tour of the met, specicfically the "woman and the seed" tour.

anyone have any details?

So if I'm following correctly, there are a few Bethelites that are giving tours at the MET ( wondered how they worked their way in their do that) reading Bible scriptures and so forth, so if the museum decides to a special exhibition of the Vatican taking up most of the museums space, then I guess the Bethelite will refuse to do his job for a while (but yet demand to be paid) . . . ??

The only person that should be concerned is Paula Patton and she doesn't seem to care lol.

Exactly Skbj, everyone who heard Howard Stern's interview with Robin Thicke could kinda figure out that Paula wouldn't care about Miley. Robin said that sometimes they like to bring in 3rd person for their "marital due". (btw inerview is YouTube)

saw two separate kiosk setups today that had the awake displayed with the cover story being "pornography, is it toxic or .

.

(the other word i can't remember).. i was in a hurry today so really didn't have time to stop and talk and ask the brother exactly how much research did the society do for this article, to which he would probably say true chrtistians don't watch porn, to which i would've asked then since you jws claim you don't lie then someone must've watched some porn films so they know what they're talking about and have their facts straight, or is the article just speculation..

You read the stories about it and probably saw the reports on the news, sounds like you're just trying to start another agrument (re your mention of skittles) and get a 30 page thread going like the ones about Trayvon Martin

a few weeks ago i posted a topic about a deaf woman studying with the jw's.

the deaf preacher from the woman's parents church contacted me to know more about the jw's because the parents were allowing their daughter to study with the jw's because "they are such nice people.

" anyway the deaf preacher contacted me because he knows i just left the jw's last year and he wanted information.. i was more than happy to provide it.
