What I've seen a lot of are "In Memory of" tattoos on both men and women, with the dates and sometimes a pic.

That guy with all the tats on his face, I wonder how he will feel about all that ink when he "matures", when he reaches his 40's, 50's and so on.
I worked with a woman in her mid 30's who had tatts on her legs, done when she was a teen, but when you work in the financial area, she realizes that the ink wasn't the best thing to do, she wears white opaque stockings year round, inlcuding summer which every woman knows is exactly hell on earth in the summertime if you wear stockings ask any Uber pioneer sister, but she will probably be in denial about that, like she is regarding the religion she's trying to get all that time in for.

Years ago one of the local papers ran some kind of contest with different levels of cash prizes, which supposedly most Dubs viewed as gambling, I remember after the book study one night the subject came up somehow about the gambling or something and the study conductors son said "my dad plays " . ..", whatever the name of the game was, you should've seen the look on the conductors face !
Then a week or so later I remember he made sure to mention to my mother and whoever was standing around that he stopped playing the game . .. yeah, right.

He is/was one of the "last of the greats", but I always wondered if that was his original name or just a big "F U" to Hollywood since he started way back in the day of the Hayes Office, which was heavy on censorship.

10 Years out of the JW Organization- What I've Learned ( For what it's Worth)
by flipper in10 years ago i stopped attending jehovah's witness meetings for good.
walked out of the kingdom hall cold turkey never to return based on injustices i observed among others and myself at the hands of elders giving out not god's counsel but personal opinions as counsel .
some of them weren't even giving out wt society counsel- just personal opinions.

Once again Flip you nailed it on the head.
When you watch the travel shows and they show churches built even going back to the 1600's with all the ornate statues and pictures but yet according to the Dubs that's all garbage and they're right. A cult that's the same age as the light bulb started by a man with a drinking problem, who if I'm not mistaken was involved with the Masons, and now they blindly follow seven out guys in Brooklyn who have them believing everything they same is coming straight from Jehovah .
