Yeah, I was thinking the same thing as Rebel when I read the title.

Wannabee - If you bought it just a few months ago then Dell probably covers it for a year, but since it's not an internal problem with the tablet that may not be covered. Did you purchase any coverage from the store?

THe usual bunch of pompous bastards, plus a sexual deviate, if the question in the Watchtower had to do with the sun and the moon, he would find a way to bring up something involving the male and female, be it love, romance or sex

Your most memorable Kingdom Hall meeting disruptions!
by easyreader1970 ini remember about twenty years ago some teenagers were caught fornicating in one of the additional schools.
the schools were downstairs, essentially separated from the rest of the kh.
they weren't just happened upon, though.

That's funny Phizzy, but my fave is the kid that shouted out Happy Birthday to her dad while he was giving a talk! Sounds like he's the type that says don't do this from the platform but does what he wants at home.

Why is it wrong for Christians to celebrate Christmas?
by james_woods inthis was inspired by terry's thread.... it is something that raises many questions about the jw belief system.. .
for one thing - the bible certainly explains all the details of the christ birth.
it certainly does not tell people to avoid celebrating it with feasts, customs, etc.

Does anyone else here remember the picture from one of the old publications of the Christmas tree in the Bethel Cafeteria with everyone gathered around?
Seems like at one time there was some new light that made it okay for the Dubs to celebrate

Any Veggie Juicers Here?
by SnarlingRaven ini have been juicing off and on for a couple of years ever since i saw a the documentary, sick, fat, and nearly dead, and my health has taken a remarkable upswing.
no doubt in my mind that drinking live celled water rich green veggie juice is one of the best things you can do for your health and longevity.
time is sometimes a thing, and don't always have the time and patience to juice the veggies and clean up the juicer parts.

I have a Vitamix and I love it, no pulp from a regular juicer like the Breville which I used to use.
I mix wheatgrass, parsley, ginger with some cranberry juice, a little lemon or lime squeezed in

Went to a non-Witness memorial service
by CaptainSchmideo inthis was a service at a southern baptist church for the father of a teacher at my son's school.
we had developed a friendship with her over the past few years, and i had met her father, knew about his terminal illness, and i wanted to pay my respects.. i have to tell you, it was a better show than the average jw "ceremony".first, lots of personal tributes about the man they were memorializing.
uplifting stories, funny stories, serious stories, describing a real life individual that many in that room knew and were going to dearly miss.. lots of singing!

"it was a show on HCPOA"
Well, I guess I'm in the minority here of not knowing what that stands for.
But if I were to guess, does the POA stand for Power of Attorney?
If not, hey, I have it a shot, right?

Odrade that's funny, everything is capped except "i' which should be !
I remember my mother saying she was going to get a computer a few years before she passed, which she never did. I don't know if they were using them for Dub stuff back then but I know someone in the Cong put that idea in her head, she never would've thougt of buying one unless they told her something she could do or look up on the computer. I told her don't ask me to show you how to use it, it would be like teaching Edith Bunker.
