What happened to the six month rule about if they don't progress that the study should be stopped, this was back in the early 80's when I remember them saying that. I guess they flip flop so much that it's probably not in effect anymore, and plus they need people to join now since folks are falling away now.

Where are all these New Anointed Ones Coming from?
by John Aquila inback in the early 70s, right before 1975 we had about 7 or 8 thousand professed anointed.
cant remember the exact number.
but at every convention we were told that the end is close ---because---the number of anointed is getting smaller and smaller.

A-Hole indeed.
We now have an original Archie Bunker running for president. The day he announced he was running, when he pissed off all the Mexicans didn't he also mention the Chinese an says he loves them, because some Chinese guy bought his most expensive condo here in the city, but did I also here him say he likes Chinese folks because he eats there food all the time? I think I heard him actually say words to that effect. Like I said, Archie Bunker is running for President.

How much damage has internet done against the The Watchtower Society ?
by opusdei1972 inin the beginning of internet the society was worried about the information published exposing its falsehood.
so, i wonder how many people lost the society on account of forums and web sites like this.

Of course the internet has turned the heads of many JWs, why do you think when the internet came out and got so popular that they were admonishing their blind followers to stay away from the internet? Taking into account that they already had a website on the web at the time.

Very sad news - Amber Scorah
by Nicky Whitehouse inmany of you know amber scorah as the ex jw writer who wrote this very inspiring article: http://www.believermag.com/issues/20130 ... cle_scorahshe has been an inspiration to many, many people as they navigate their way through the many feelings and issues that come with leaving the jw cult.amber is also my cousin.on monday, she lost her 3 month old baby son, karl.
http://mobile.nytimes.com/2015/07/15/ny ... .html?_r=0 understandably, she is devastated - and now facing mounting medical bills, funeral expense and more.
a foundation has been set up to help them face these costs.

I looked up that patch last night, it has a few side effects too it, it is best if you check with your Dr. first. One of the things I read is that people like to use in while on a cruise for dizziness and seasickness, but a lot of Dr.'s on the boats don't like to prescribe it or even keep it on stock because one of the side effects is paranoia and if a passenger gets that while stuck in the middle of the ocean, they'd just rather not be bothered with a case like that.
Yes, some people can use it successfully, but read up on it first

I've had vertigo for about thirty years now, so I've just learned to live with it. The only major change I made, and do mean MAJOR was five years ago I stopped drinking 80 proof alcohol, since after a night of having a few I usually wake up with a spinning head. I'm surprised I was able to stop since i always had few drinks every night, guess it was time to cut out 80 proof now that I think about it. Just wine and beer for me now.

Are JWs trying to make dysfunctional kids and destroy their ability to live normal lives?
by C0ntr013r inare jws trying to make dysfunctional kids that wont "fit" in normal society so they will "return to jehovah"?
because there have been many stories about young people who have been out in the world only to find how bad it was and how correct the org was.. a good jw kid with "good" jw parents will have many big issues, some examples:.
fear of demons (fear, misfit).

They're not outright trying, but a lot of them sure end up that way.
