  JW Hypocrisy Rears It's Ugly Head...As Usual

  so about last night.... i am out at a local club (not restaurant, not event venue - a club) to see a rap concert.

  now, i am with some friends minding my own business, and i find that i am standing right behind 3 active jw's - one of whom used to be my best friend.

  this girl is as fake as they come: 1) she used to live with me and would bring non-jw guys home all the time, 2) was living with a man when she lived down south - until he dumped her, and then she decided to go back to jw's the 1st time and got reproved, and i supported her.

  I would call and elder in the Hall and say that I"m confused about a certain issue, and read and/or send him her msg and ask him to explain why you were Df'd but this girl goes back and forth like a revolving door and nothing has happened to her.

  i heard that the memorial will stop after the last anointed have passed away ... is this information true/false?

  just curious.

  Well the last of the anointed should've passed away a long, long time ago, the numbers have gone up of the folks that are partaking. How does that happen?, those in the Cong who aren't wrapped too tight think that Almighty Jah spoke to them and said I want you to float up to heaven and be one of my chosen people.

  They used to say something like the memorial will end or that's when the Big A will come decades ago, I'm a born-in so didn't really listen at the meetings, but I don't know how they currently flip-flop around that issue.

  amazing that not only have we lasted so long but we're still thriving and growing.. thanks to all the people and often colorful characters who've contributed to the site over the years.

  some are still here with us, some have since moved on, but all have touched each others lives in some way along our different journeys.. .

  l guess we all have our own reasons and thought it would give insight to others considering going to reconsider and not go.

  I haven't been to a meeting including the memorial since the 80's. My mother used to come home and brag that we had 'such and such" a huge number at the memorial, which I remember them having because the hall I used to go to along with the other cong that used to meet there used to rent out a school auditorium or gym for it. However, keeping in mind I haven't been to a meeting since the 80's and my mother passed in early 2006, I noticed that the bragging stopped, which was due to the lack of attendance, which either this site or Tishies site (which I used to follow before I found Simons site) pointed out. Even when they used to get the huge attendance numbers I asked where are these people during the rest of of the year? To which my mother gave the embarrassing answer of " oh, some of them come to the other meetings" which is an absolute lie. Never been to the Ministry School or even the Sunday meeting where people were wrapped along the walls or standing outside because there wasn't enough room.

  I think someone posted about this the other day, I have to say I just don't get it with Prince, how folks think he's such a genius and all. He's not the first person on the planet to write and produce music and won't be the last. I personally think he's one sandwich short of picnic. How people totally idolize and fall over themselves because they're so in love with him is beyond me, but then again to each his own.

  The memorial beauty pageant

  since the memorial is coming up soon and its about time for me to go shopping for a new memorial ( aka easter) dress, i've realized what the memorial really is for us teenage girls, a beauty pageant!

  the memorial is the day i spend painting my nails, curling my hair, and carefully applying makeup because my mother says i have to "represent jehovah" and look my best.

  in reality its just to impress the newcomers and to compete with the other girls.

  I remember when I was a kid, all the girls at school would talk about their new "Easter shoes and coat", my mom used to buy me the same but I noticed that they were purchased so they could be worn at the memorial, like all the other little girls my age in the congregation.

  Gross! Grooming of young brothers in the KH to do more for Jehobadahhh and his organ-nigh-say-shun! I saw it myself.

  so there is this young brother probably 14 or 15 and the elders are already grooming him to do more for jehobadahhh.

  most of the elders in this kh are old like 60+ and sometimes there are not enough brothers to do the mics or sound so you will see a 70 year old elder forced into action.

  almost comical to see a brother who thinks instagram is an email service try to operate the sound system and projector as he plays the wrong song or brings the screen down during a prayer.

  HA! Don't know if it actually happened this way but I'm actually picturing a scene out of a Jerry Lewis movie when he plays the bumbling idiot, trying to bring down the screen during the prayer and it hits the ground LMFAO ! !

  protesters shut down a trump rally.

  massive numbers of people are out in chicago and have shut his event down.

  there were scuffles inside the event.. despite his lame attempt to pretend the violence he instigates is nothing to do with him it's clear that it is as the cnn quotes during the last event showed only too well.. this doesn't happen at anyone else's events - candidates have even given up the stage to protesters, not called for them to be beaten and punched.. trump is an ugly person and this is just a small taste of what a future under his rule would be like.. shame on the gop for not kicking his ass out.

  Like I've said from the beginning of his campaign, just sit back and watch this train wreck meet its well deserved end. Remember when he announced he was running and he held the meeting at his hotel, that picture of him and his wife riding the "down escalator" as he waved to all the folks cheering him on? Just remember that, he was on the down escalator.
