  Dental Implants and Positives/Negatives from Anyone?

  i'm sure there's residents onboard here that aren't afraid of them (like i am!

  ) and the megadoses of antibiotics taken after the minor surgery.

  seems the meds need to be taken since a foreign object has been inserted into the bone (titanium) which the body accepts (really?

  that should be enough to make you think long and hard about dental implants, my opinion of course, but down the road some folks have had serious major problems with them, inserting "foreign object in the gum line" just doesn't seem like the right cure to me. My goodness, I just had braces when I was a young teen, now in my 50's the Dentist says I have week bone structure because of them and btw I've heard that more than once and that's just from something attached to the outer tooth. So I can just imagine what happens to some people who have a foreign object embedded deep down into the gum line.

  Anybody watch Game of Thrones?

  i started watching game of thrones and it has become my fav tv show in a long time.

  i may even read the novels.

  i love fantasy novels and movies, i always tried not to like them and felt bad when a new book came out and always gave in and read it lol.

  the first thing i saw when i went in was the two video screens having the watchtower singers chorus doing a number.

  the sound wasn't up enough to make out the song, but the video was grotesque.

  the singers were swaying to the music, all independent of each other, no discipline, actually sloppy-looking.

  Current JW Go Fund Me requests

  this topic was discussed a few years ago and i thought i would have a look to see what is going on with go fund me's by jws.

  i am astounded that there are a great deal more jws requesting money than there were a few years ago and even by pioneers.i've only looked in detail at a few jw go fund me requests but came across this one that i am stunned about on a number of levels.. my little maryhello friends.

  meet my wonderful girlfriend mary, a 23 year old "need greater pioneer"serving in the english field in san marcos nicaragua.

  I've several instances where people moved in, played the role, took people for money, possessions, then moved on down the line.

  I've heard of a few "professional widows" in the borg that do that, a guy I grew up with, his father was a widower for less than a year, he was telling them that there's a sister that keeps pestering him and he really wasn't interested in her. A few months down the road he tells the family they're getting married. After a few years he got sick and died, she made sure everything was in her name and not his two grown kids, she didn't even show up at the funeral. Guess she was on her way to the next Congregation to find the next "fine, spiritual brother who just lost his wife"

  I wonder if they wrote to the Society about her condition, now that I think about it they probably did and we all know what happened w/Society, nothing. They're the ones that told her they needed some folks in Nicaragua, so they basically told her where to go, and don't call us anymore.

  I guess these two Uber dubs now realize that all the praying that they're doing to Jah isn't helping at all, yet for some crazy reason they're still trying to remain faithful - smh

  wish I didn't throw away and still had todays Post so I can confirm the address, but every time I hear Furman in Brooklyn I think of the Bethel bldgs plus the fact that theyre in Trump's family now since his son in law owns some of the former Bethel buildings

  Funny that this has been posted this evening, after reading this evening in either the NYPost or in TONY of one of the hot new hotels to stay inBklyn, they mentioned either 40 or 60 Furman, when I hear Furman I think of one of the Bethel buildings. But now, Bethel bldg or not, on the roof they have a pool and bar hangout, looks way cooler than pumping out Washtowels and Afake magazines.

  How many times can you be DF'd?

  there was one guy in our hall who got df'd 3 times, on the fourth time he never came back.

  i wonder if they told him not to come back?

  We had a brother that was DFd either three or four times, every time he came back he had a new wife, so I guess we know what he was DFd for. Have no idea where he is today, but I wonder why even bother with da troof if it messes up your lifestyle like that, sin get kicked out come back, wash, rinse, repeat. Maybe the Catholic Church is the place for you so you can confess and be forgiven.
