Book of Mormon messed up my Math

ok, i know, another mormon thread, but since we here like to talk about religious things that dont make any sense to us, i thought i would bring this up.

maybe a mormon viewer out there can solve this for me as this is the reason i wouldnt listen to anymore of their 'teachings'.. ok, here we go- mormon math in the introduction to the book of mormon:introduction.

the book of mormon is a volume of holy scripture comparable to the bible.

i just wanted to get some opinions on this matter from everyone.

support here in the states is pretty solid but very weak in europe.

i will make my prediction (ie you know) that we will be having a little sand party within a year.

we may as well join with the civilized world in celebrating the grand event on the day which the majority celebrate - "christmas day.
