Some of you in other countries could make this an interesting topic to read. One of my favs is a Latin combo of black beans & rice. Chunky salsa on top. If there is sour cream...even better. Check this one out: creamy Almond peanut butter with fruit yogurt on top. You put can whip cream on top. Add chopped nuts, or your choice of dressing. YUMMY!

OK, so there's people here proving their hypocracy, some being sexist and some who just don't think properly, but say others are ignorant.
Man, there's all types here aren't there? Meanwhile, I'm still the one who stated the facts which will never change, and I got slapped around.
The topic still remains true after all of this: If you dress to reveal yourselves, no matter if it's for other females or males, you're gonna get stared at. Maybe even some unwanted staring, but you have to understand it's because you look like you want people to notice your goods, while at the same time being fashionable.
Just don't blame guys for over extending their glances. It's mostly because of what YOU'RE wearing. Don't have such a problem with them, you're wearing clothing that says "look at me". If you are a female that doesn't like the stares, don't dress so revealing. People WILL look at you like you're a party girl, or someone who is "easy". Not all, but some.
That's it...end of thread, nothing to see here folks..move along.

Why are we telling Iran they can't have nukes?
by mavie inwatching the democratic debates i was struck how every candidate, save dennis kucinich, pledged to prevent iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon.
iran is a sovereign state, diplomacy which ends in 'you can't have this, but we can' will not work.
what would happen if another country told us we couldn't have nukes?

Do the Arab countries not have a right to defend themselves should Israel decide to launch first? What exactly is Israel up to - they seem to be allowed to have as many warheads as they like and nobody is batting an eyelid, merely because they haven't signed the nuclear non-proliferation treaty. Maybe to sign that treaty was Iran's biggest mistake - damned if they did, damned if they didn't.
Top line: seriously, that's not gonna happen, unless it's necessary for JUST reasons.
Bottom Line: I relate that to criminals (ie. those intent on exterminating the Israelies & us) complaining that the cops ( the Israelies, US, GB, etc ) have too many guns or too much advantage.

Right, women shouldn't. If they do, then obviously it's probably not just staring or gawking. But still, if in a particular situation, a female is popping out all over the place (the cause), some idiots are gonna run with it (the effect of the cause).
You know, I just had another thought. Have you seen in movies or TV shows, when a decked out girl/women looks over at maybe a nerdy character in the show, makes a face and says.."what are YOU looking at" ?. That is totally, "you're not good enough, attractive enough, or worthy enough to be looking at my hot stuff, so stop looking" Anyone agree? You know that attitude exists on the playing field. I've seen it before. And no Changeling, or NVRGNBK(?), that has never happened to me (to my knowledge), cause I don't gawk or stare.
Plus, with such a catch like me, they all said, "why aren't YOU looking at me" ?

I have lost two dear friends permaturely to breast cancer and I guess what infuriates me so much about this thread is that the mentality that they are something that should be hidden less we be considered "loose" is such a throwback to the JW mentality

Thanks Merry. This will pass. There's been so many topics on this forum that people have taken the belt over. Many topics that people haven't liked. Not like mine was a CRAZY topic or something. It's a serious topic though, that gets people stirred up apparently.
I could have easily posted a topic telling guys to stop staring at women all the time, be civilized when women are around, treat them better, etc, etc, and I would have received flack from that too. Just another day in paradise

OK, I'm convinced, just females who can't stay on topic. You clearly know exactly what my comment was meaning. The topic is about "LOOKS", GAWKING and STARING" caused by women exposing alot of their flesh, or wearing very revealing clothing, and how women shouldn't think it's just the guys who have the problem with their eyes.
