I agree I like paper books, curling up in bed with the kindle just doesn't seem the same.Same here. I love frayed edges, smears on the page, and bent corners. I have tried the e-readers, but I guess I'm too old to appreciate that particular technology! My eyes, hands, and brain just don't coordinate that well with them.

this has changed.. thanks to you guys, obama and the agenda to re-distribute the wealth of this country's citizens............. i oppose your agenda.. liberals true stripes are showing in bankrupting this country.. .

She's on a campaign to save paper books
I like this idea for the simple fact that many history and textbooks are being altered. I heard recently that all the Mark Twain books that contain racially sensitive language are being altered to eliminate it. I'm holding on to my 1976 Encyclopedia Britannicas. -

I agree with almost NOTHING politically from these three women. I firmly believe one of them actually hates America. Yet, I find it very interesting that a few years ago, when someone posted a topic asking for five (or some number...I forget) people you would like to have a beer with, I named two of the three mentioned in this post. Funny, Gregor, you were also someone I mentioned and that was before I knew your "relationship" with the other two!

Congresswoman Shot in Tucson

several people were shot saturday at a grocery store in tucson, arizona, a spokesman for the pima county sheriff's department said.. the shooting occurred at a safeway shortly after 10 a.m. mst, according to sheriff's spokesman deputy jason ogan.. a couple of victims with gunshot wounds have arrived at northwest medical center, according to spokesman richard parker.. "they've been coming in the last 10 minutes.
i'm not sure of the severity of their injuries," he said.. ogan said the motive for the shooting is unclear.. "we're just trying to sort this out right now," he said.. .
