Well since it's my quote you've used, I'll guess I'll respond. But it'll have to be when I get home later. I don't have time at work at the moment.

unfortunately, it seems that people are unable or unwilling to debate or discuss the war and stay civil.
people are accused of all sorts of extremes such as "advocating child torture and rape" if you are against the war or "being a mass murderer and war criminal" if you support it.. some people seem to want to be able to post anything they want and it be accepted verbatim while other people are denied an opinion that doesn't agree with theirs.. i for one am sick of it and i suspect that other people are too.. this is supposed to be a site for jw related issues.
not exclusively but primarily.

go see if it is accurate........... http://www.colourtest.info/this is me...my existing situation.........you want to make a favourable impression and be recognised.
you need to feel appreciated and admired.
you are sensitive and easily hurt if no notice is taken of you or if you are not given adequate acknowledgement.. .
I didn't like it when the page entitled "Your restrained characteristics" came up and there weren't any.
However, since my computer is now lying in pieces on the garden path, I don't have to worry about it.

to clarify:.
on this site, and others, i regularly come across people who say they are "moving on", or "getting a life for themselves", or simply stating that they have "outgrown this place".. now, i'm not talking about people who have simply got bored with posting, or are cheesed off with someone else and decide not to post anymore.
i'm talking about ex's who have come here purely as some sort of therapy exercise and believe that, once recovery is achieved, that "moving on" is a necessary conclusion to their re-adjustment back to normality.. in other words, like sandra bullock believed in "28 days", they assume that leaving is a sign that they are no longer operating dysfunctionally.
I post here because they put internet access in the psychiatric wing.

a lot has been been made of the accuracy of the weapons and they have been extremely impressive.
we're told that they are acurate down to a few feet and we've seen footage of buildings being destroyed.
whether they are the right buildings (the ones they were aiming at )or not, we don't yet know.
The reason that the British forces are firing heavy artillery into Basra is because of the nascent uprising by the populace against Saddam Hussein. The Iraqi military are firing mortar bombs upon their own people. The British are firing radar guided artillery (extremely accurate) and taking out the Iraqi mortars. Who are the war criminals here, d'ya think?

this could spell real problems......the us forces heading for baghdad seemed to have come across a major iraqi force.
there is a sandstorm so the us cannot call on air support.
it will have to be a ground war.
Not quite true. The B52's are hammering the Republican Guard according to this BBC story:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/2885359.stm
If necessary, the US troops can just hunker down for a day or two. Sandstorms aren't pleasant (I was shovelling sand out of my undies for days after a mild one in Southern Morocco), but they wont make any difference to the outcome.

i've just seen the al-jazeera footage.
its truly shocking.
there were about 6-7 us soldiers.
So as far as I am concerned anyway there is a VAST difference in displaying a ribbon showing hope for the return of loved ones and displaying a flag altered to fit someone's agenda.
That's the crux, in a nutshell.
Second time we've agreed this week isn't it? Be afraid! Be very afraid!
