i was a little surprised to learn that many people do not really understand the purpose of jwd.
many are focused on freedom of speech and the fact that this is a "discussion" board.
to some this does seem to go against the heavy moderating the board has seen lately, feeling that discussion is suppressed, some going so far as to suggest that mind control is subtly involved here as in the organization.
We arent supposed to ask moderator questions in this thread. If we could, I would have asked:Does your opinion play a role in the moderation, or is it overridden by the "rules", and eventually, Mission Statement?
Since you didn't ask the question I wont give my answer that it's impossible for opinion not to play a part in the moderation. Moderating decisions are subjective and not objective. It's not possible to make them objective.

i recently was pulled from my regular job in customer service to help work on our company's "global transformation project" which involves getting all of our company's disparate software systems onto one system.. most of the programmers that i am working with now are from india.
i tell ya, they are the friendliest, most polite people i've ever come across, they are such a pleasure to work with.
i wonder if it's hinduism, or their culture, or maybe i'm just meeting the "cream" of a nation with something like a billion people, but i think the western world could learn a lot from these humble folks.
Of course Indians are nice, they learned their manners from the British. *cough*

I suggest you get in touch with a poster by the name of 68Storm. You can pm him using the messaging on this site. He has been through the court/child custody process involving JW's.
I haven't much knowledge of this area, but I do have a copy of the Watchtower's Child Custody strategy booklet they use. If you would like a copy, let me know.

yes have you ever honestly, had jehovah ansure your prayer in a way that told you it was from him and not some trick of a wanting heart?
When I was young I prayed to Jehovah to help me find the path of righteousness. This was after reading a Watchtower magazine. To my amazement the doorbell rang! when I answered it, there was the local Circuit Overseer! He told me that when driving by my house he had this irresistible urge to call on me.
I would have invited him in to start a Bible study, but standing behind him were these two smokin' hot blondes dressed up like Smurfette. So I told him to piss off and invited them in instead. Thank you Jehovah!
