help....i am addicted to mulligatawny soup....it has knocked heinz tomato soup and even...even ...home made soup...(for the moment at least)for six....try and break my cult like feelings for mulligatawny and steer me onto another path of soupiness.....meanwhile i give you ..the one...the only.....mulligatawny soup...
At home I like Campbells' Tomato soup. When I'm out I like to order French Onion soup, with the bread in it and melted cheese on top. Yummmmm!

i for one, would blindly trust just about anyone on this forum, just the fact of knowing that you already were a jw.. does this mean that jw's in general are better people or are we a very close bunch of people?.
Wow, I have not been on since Friday, I can't believe this thread is still going. Hi rosalee!
I think you should start your own topic, too. And btw, I don't mind if you say a prayer for me.

it has always been a dream of mine to transfer to, and graduate from the university of southern california.
last year i applied, and about two weeks ago i was accepted.
that was cool, but i had no way of paying for it, and the financial aid i applied for would not cover enough of the tuition, and other fees.
Congratulations! I am very happy for you.

how do you see your own demise?
a long, slow, painful illness?
a quick crash?
If I don't die in an accident of some sort, I will most likely die from liver failure. But, I believe that I will join the Hemlock Society before I have to go through a lot of pain and suffering.

the doctor said, 'bill, the good news is i can cure your headaches.
the bad.

i thought i'd start a new thread since my other thread was leading into a different topic.
hopefully i can get many different views on this.
i understand the concern not allowing children to be preach to by jw family members.
Your post has really made me step back and think. My view on this had always been a hard NO WAY. But, you bring up a load of good points. I don't have kids of my own but I do have a niece and nephew (that Grandama Coocoo babysits) and I have been harsh in my warnings to my baby sister with regard to this topic. She usually just backs off and changes the subject (wonder where she gets that). I know GC has been planting seeds in these kids since they were infants and it scares me.
But you know what is said about "forbidden fruit". Hmmmmmmm.
I think I need to call my sister and apologize.
Thanks,

hi all - well i got here a few hours ago.
the flight started off well, but i got over greenland and suddenly got very ill - high temperature, and nausea.
i called the flight attendants who moved to the back and in the process i fainted.
Oh Crumpett how awful. What a dreadful experience. I'm glad you're OK.
I am glad to hear you've arrived and I'm sure after a good nights rest everything will turn around for you. Rest up for your Cowboy/girl! Whatever, ENJOY!!

a jw friend of mine asked me what the trinity means to me and how i can use the bible to explain it.
why others think it is so important.. i understand that this could be a baiting technique to try to pull me into a debate, but in another aspect, i think she really could be wondering about it.
lately she has appeared a little disgruntled with the wts.
