  it just came to me out of the morning mist.

  i was standing in my garage having a smoke just a few minutes ago.

  so, i was thinking about the day to come and i had my hands in my pockets.

  my son called me yesterday, first time in probably 6 weeks, because he lost his car keys, the car is in my name, so i had to get another set from the dealership.

  anyways, it doesn't really matter what he called about, it was just in 6 weeks he only calls because he needs something, not a peep before that (very hurtful).

  a brother drove him to my office and it was quittin time so i went outside with him and gave him the keys, i was hurt and didn't say much to him.

  Tak, you're too nice. Sorrry you have to go though this. A 23 year old should not have to depend on his mother for insurance, JW or not! He needs to grow up. Insurance fraud is nasty business, you could lose a lot.

  i remember when i was a kid in "the truth.

  there was an elderly sister that had a heart attack during the meeting.

  she made loud gasping sounds as she was holding on for dear life.

  That is one of the most heartless things I've ever heard, jwfacts.

  When I attended (a million years ago) there was a sister who had eplilepsy and she would regularly have siezures during the meetings. Uncontrolable shaking fits. It was as if nothing was going on. Just hold her in the chair so she won't drop to the floor, stick a pencil in her mouth so she don't swallow her tounge and carry on.

  The memories this place dregs up is unbelievable. You can't make this shit up!

  I feel really angry

  i feel angry, bitter, resentful and stupid.

  when i was in my 30's and young and strong, and had a long stretch of life ahead of me, i went along with the jw's and didn't get my education.

  now that i am 50, divorced and barely making a living as a teacher aide, i am scrounging around trying to get the loans and grants to enable me to go to school to earn a b.a.

  Same ole, same ole. I'm 48 and was told I'd never finish High School way back in the 70's. Same shit, different decade.

  Go finish your education and let them all piss up a rope. Get out now. Wait on yourself! Don't depend on anyone else.

  "Sprouting" ... Does anyone here do this?

  i didn't want to hijack the "how to save money" thread, but just wondered if anyone else here does his/her own sprouting (making sprouts from beans or seeds).. if you buy sprouts in the supermarket, they can very expensive, expecially if you like to mix 2 or 3 types within a salad.

  additionally, if you don't have easy access to an asian market, the long white bean sprouts can be expensive.

  locally here in miami, we pay about $2 for just a 12 ounce package.. i started sprouting my own things several years ago, not so much to save money, but more to have a fresh supply of sprouts and not have to go to the store as often.
