can a disfellowshipped person get rides to the meeting?

well apparently i couldnt.

in the first cong i was in, up north in ny, i got rides just fine for a while -- but shortly after i moved to my old cong south of there... .

i called up and let them know that i didnt have enough money to pay for gas to get to the meetings, and was wondering if we could work something out... .

I Had Lunch With Michelle Obama Today

she is an amazon...i'm guessing 5' 11" with big hips.

her speech was ok, but she says "um" a lot.

our table was very close, which translates into we paid $500.00, instead of $200.00, per plate for our cold chicken salad.

The dub-snub is my biggest complaint against this evil cult. How dare any seat warmer try to justify this behaviour! It is selfish, plain and simple!

You were able to put my thoughts out there in a civil manner. Something I could not do so I chose not to post at all until now.

a friend of mine told me i had a 'present' on the way.

i opened the envelope yesterday to find a rosary and a little prayer guide.

i am not catholic.

Intersting take, Longshanks. I sort of agree.

I had recieved a rosary as a gift once myself. My friend that gave me the gift passed away a few years ago. I still have it on display in my living room. It was special to him and he wanted me to have it. He knew of my JW upbringing and he also knew I had no use for any religion.
