i read the lyrics off of the cd jacket and the words remind me so much of how i felt in the watchtower organization - never being allowed to ask serious questions or raise any kinds of objections to organizational practices.

they just stopped by my place, and i am hiding... i havent been to meetings in years... co must be in town, and the in-laws musta tipped em off where i am living.

oh man, where do i start. i am always the practical joke guy. one of my favorites, is to take an add out in the paper announcing a gargae sale. put someone elses address on it. list really cool stuff, like, tools, kitchen ware, stuff that'll get noticed. you must put, early birds welcome, knock hard, i'll be in the back of the house. lol if your doing it to a friend, keep him up the night before the "sale" drinking. lots of fun .

Disfellowshipping smokers is an outrage!

how does the society scripturally justify taking the ultra-harsh measure of disfellowshipping and shunning persons who merely enjoy smoking a few cigarettes a day?

in what way is mild smoking a gross sin that is deserving of such a harsh punishment?

how on earth does the society make the connection between the scriptural exhortation to 'cleanse ourselves of every defilement of flesh and spirit' (2 cor 7:1 & 2) to taking the extremely harsh measure of denying a smoker the right to any contact with their fellow congregation members, friends, and jw family?

yeah, i smoke but, am respectful to people around me and try to stay downwind. the reason your not supposed to smoke is because your supposed to keep your body clean. the funny thing is, they will df ya for smoking, but, overdrinking, being morbidly obese, and not excersising are accepted. wtf?

Why are congregations dissolved?

i have absolutely no problem with gays, or the gay lifestyle. i even have gay friends and go to gay bars. it doesn't bother me because, i am comfortable that i am straight. but, i could never be with someone that was my gender, even if mr. willy was snipped off. the mental thing would be impossible to get past. btw, guys, gay bars are awesome for picking up women. lol most feel if your willing to go to one, you must be cool. so, just a tip. no pun intended. lol

Racism within the borg

acts 10:34 speaks of god as not being partial.

in the majority of pictures, the married couples are only of the same race and none of them are mixed.

i noticed that in other pictures of the so-called paradise, its segerated amongst races too.

my ex-wife was black. i was a witness when we got married. you should have seen what happened. there was racism from both races. the black p.o. from our hall told my parents he would never let his daughter marry a white guy. when he saw the horror in my parents faces, he quickly followed it up with, well, there's so many problems with mixed race couples in the world. this was disillusioning to me. the whites treated us like we had the plague. it was a mistake to marry her, not because of her race, but, because she was a ............well, i'm sure you all know what i want to say. it was amazing to me how people reacted.
