what is supposed to be symbolized by peter and the rooster fighting it out on family guy?
i know that i'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but this one is completely over my head.

What sort of a witness were you?
by brinjen ini'm talking door to door service work here.
were you the kind who would insist on getting a conversation at ever door?
or where you (like me) the kind who would take a "not interested" as an excuse to get the hell out of the householders face?

wanderer, where did you get that? that is so funny. like others said, if leaving leaflets, and speaking against a religion is persacution, then, they themselves are more guilty than anybody, except maybe the mormans. where do these people get off.
i had a "brother" tell me i could disagree with the society as long as i didn't voice my opinion. these people try to silence their critics, all the while, they are the biggest persacuters on earth. i say, if we are getting to them, we need to organise and really shake them up.

If God admitted he had effed it all up and asked for your help ...
by Crumpet inif god existed and came to you and admitted actually he was fallible and a bit of an ego problem but was undergoing therapy to deal with his jealous and violent disposition and was genuinely sorry for making such a mess of the world by insisting on worship of himself, could you forgive him?
.
and if he asked you to be part of a committee to sort out his mess - what would you suggest he started with?

What Do You Think of Lying?
by Sarah Smiles inhow many people trust elders?.
today an elder said,"elders lie because human imperfection!".
i said,"so your excuse is human imperfections for elders to lie, yet they disfellowship people on human imperfections all the time.".

When Did You Start Feeling Uncomfortable In The Truth?
by The wanderer in<!-- .style1 { font-family: arial; font-size: 18px; } .style2 { font-family: arial; font-size: 16px; color: #0033cc; } .style3 { font-family: verdana, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; } .style4 {color: #0033cc} --> when did you start feeling uncomfortable in the truth?it started out for me by asking questions out of curiosity, which eventually led me.
out of the organization.
my history as a jehovahs witness could easily be summed .

i never felt comfortable in it. i would go through my "spiritual phases" usually after i got caught doing something bad. case in point, the only reason i got baptised was to get the heat off of me from getting busted stealing cars. i would do things to please my parents. the more i "made the truth my own" the more i was sickened with my own actions. i felt worse going in service than i did stealing cars and slinging dope.
i always knew something wasn't right with the org. but, being raised in it and not being able to question, it wasn't until i was on my own, i finally started to really think. i still thought it was the truth and i was just a bad seed. it wasn't until the glorious invention of the internet, thanks al gore, until i really was able to see how many people felt like i did and were able to thoughtfully question their doctrine. that's when the flood gates opened, and i really did alot of research. the more i learned, the more i despised it.
