there is nothing i like better, than flying down the highway at the proper speed limit, buckled up for safety, listening to kingdom melodies at a proper level. ahhhhh the exhilaration of it all. i am a wild man, watch out.

Torn over presidential candidates
by Junction-Guy intalk about my own crisis of conscience!!.
im a republican, and have always voted for republican candidates for president, this upcoming election leaves me very little choice.
this may be the first presidential election since 1996 that i wont vote, nor can i even get excited over.. .

undecided, i think when people don't vote at all, they are allowing the problem to continue. in my opinion, if more people voted issues, rather than parties, politicians would be on their toes more. also, in my opinion, if you don't vote at all, you have no right to say anything about the candidates. just my opinion.

Beautiful Women and Dorks
by Save My Soul inlooking back at a few bethel threads and getting calls from many former friends last week about the assembly season, i reflected back on some of the assemblies of the past, particularly in the 80's and 90's.. do you remember beautiful sisters that just had the criteria of having a spiritual man.
they would get a dorky pioneer / elder / ms and walk together at the assembly.
everyone would wonder, "how the hel did that happen".

Since we're on the topics of the Assemblies...
by forsharry inquestion.
i'm not sure if this has ever been brought up before (probably has) but something just occurred to me...why were there always dubs guarding the donation boxes outside out of the conventions (in the hallways.)?
i mean i know the obvious reason behind it...very north korea-esque if you ask me, but we were told over and over just how special and christian and different we were from the world.... i'm looking for your theories on this.

i'm still wondering how i got my wife. women say i'm good looking, but, i think my wife could do way better. i've always been able to get with hotties. when i was a bouncer, i was with 3-4 women a week. one told me i was cute, but, what really drew her to me was my personality. i don't know, maybe there's some truth to that. whatever the case, my wife is so awesome, i think she's wasting her time with me. i won't tell her that though.

hey junction guy, maybe you should look at independant candidates. i would look into the libertarian party if i were you. i usually vote this party when i can, but, am going with either fred thompson or mitt romney this time around.

MYSpace....How Do You REALLY feel about it?
by onlycurious inthis is for all those parents of teens out there..... do you really want your child on myspace?.
my 12 (almost 13) yr old opened her own acct without my permission....knowing full well i don't want her on it!!!.
she gets to do a lot but she's starting to try to be a lot more independent from me and when it comes to the web, i am very careful.. anyone dealt with this one?.
