water can get into the carb bowl. there is usually a bolt in the middle of the bowl. if you take this off, you will notice, most of the bolts are hollow, with a port on the side. make sure this is clean. this bolt delivers the fuel to the bowl. drain the fuel out of the bowl and refill with fresh fuel. another common cause is a fouled spark plug. take it off, and run a medium grade sandpaper through the electrode and ground. this is the little hook at the end of the plug. if you have any more problems, hit me up, i am a mechanic.

Why, why can't a girl start the lawn Mower?
by restrangled inok, my husband is in bed, there is just enough light to mow the lawn.
the gas tank has just been refilled, and there is fresh oil.damn it, i have primed it as required, and have pulled and pulled and pulled the stupid string.. why cant the damn thing start with out a guy???
my husband is now asleep and the damn lawn is 5 inches tall.. god help me!!!!!!!!!.

yes, almost went through with it too. thankfully, i couldn't find the guys house, i'd be in prison now. but, i had a very valid reason to do so. at least, i think i did. i've since calmed down and have a great life i wouldn't be able to enjoy had i gone through with it. now, i will only kill if my or someone elses life is in eminant danger.

snarf, i can honestly say i know wht your going through. i've been censored, and had some run ins on pm. i was also going to leave, but, i decided to not let the actions of a few discourage me from "associating" with people i like. thanks by the way to the people that helped me realise this, you know who you are. i hope you reconsider bro. we are all imperfect humans and need each others support. i have just chosen to ignore the few that press their opinions on others. good luck in whatever you do.
