IP_SEC, are you from a cajun background? did your family ever eat dessert on the back of the dinner plate? this serves 2 purposes, 1st, less dishes to wash, 2nd, ya can't have dessert until you finish dinner. man, no wonder this area has a weight problem. lol

meeting all you awesome people. even though we don't always agree, i still respect most of you. seeing that i'm not the only one that has these feelings. being able to explore other beliefs.
btw, nvr, just got back from the bookstore. i bought 3 books . one is the tao of inner peace, one is zen, the art of happiness, and the last was a guide to buddhist meditation. i have only skimmed them so far, but, just that has already peaked my interest. thanks for the advice.

wanna hear a sad story? when i was a dub, i was at someones house playing pictionary. this one sister had her turn. she drew a circle. half of it looked like the sun, the other half looked like a half circle, we all sat there trying to say stuff. nobody got it right. when the time was up, she said moon. first off, a moon is very easy to draw. not hard, but, when we couldn't get it, she got mad, and, i don't remember her excact words, but, it dawned on us, that, she thought the moon was just the other side of the sun. i'm serious, she actually thought this. like, at night the sun turned around and was darkned. she was a pioneer. lol

Apparently No Christ-like Spirit at FTC Convention
by snowbird inmy 18-year old daughter came home after her first day at the convention in a foul mood.. she kept griping about this and that until i thought i was going to have to pimp slap the little heifer.
i guess all the talk about the internet and inactive ones had really gotten to her.. on a side note, my co-worker asked why it is called follow the christ.
she wanted to know how many christs are there.

it is not a disfellowshipping offense. it is looked down on. from what i see, it is more lax in rural areas. but, in cities, gunownership is frowned upon.

i always thought that too. it's like a computer programmer, writes code, and when the computer does excately what he programmed it to do, he gets pissed and smashes it. doesn't make sense to me.
