Religions are like drainage (as they all teach to seek material blessings from God), hence are convertible with materialism, but spirituality without religions is like pure water body. You people have only seen drainage. Then you moved to evolution theory which is also materialism, hence not a pure water body. But the difference is that one who knows where the pure water body is will always be sympathetic to those who belittle him! In contrast to the one who thinks that he is this body and gets affected by every external happening, one with true vision faces difficult situations with balance and gracefulness. True vision means having a comprehensive view, seeing the immaterial reality behind this material and temporary body! That immaterial reality is where thinking, discriminating and recording take place, and those faculties (mind, intellect and sub-conscious mind) belong to soul. That means it is in soul that all knowing and experiencing take place. In other words, experience exists in the experiencer. If one remembers this fact, then no experience would grow more important than the experiencer at any time. This view enables one to position himself ABOVE the experiences which help him to view all experiences (pleasant or unpleasant) as road traffic being viewed from a building top, remaining totally unaffected. Even in a tragic event, people with this true vision will look for any lesson to be learned from it and move forward totally unaffected.

Homo sapiens is also missing (let alone the missing links in between)
by iconoclastic inthe word sapiens (from latin, meaning wise) when applied to humans as final evolute, it is understood that humans manifest wisdom in their day-to-day living.
one of the features of being wise (which means having/showing experience, knowledge, and good judgment) is about replacing wastages with something better.
is this being done with regard to many of the greater aspects of our lives?.

Many a time people shape their views unconsciously. Persons who come out work on their views consciously. If your focus is scattered by what you consider is `you' and `yours' (your house, car, wife, child, pet, education, position and power….) then, what you call yourself is what is spread around you. Right now, you're not an established being; you are a scattered being. You are not you; you are a crowd. In this situation, you see with the crown.
Once you act as an individual (from Latin, indivisible), the indivisible Self, can no longer be divided. Once you become a true individual, you begin to see things differently—things as they are!

The word sapiens (from Latin, meaning “wise”) when applied to humans as final evolute, it is understood that humans manifest wisdom in their day-to-day living. One of the features of being wise (which means having/showing experience, knowledge, and good judgment) is about replacing wastages with something better. Is this being done with regard to many of the greater aspects of our lives?
If individuals or nations try to identify the wastages and find out better ways, instantly the brute in humans will manifest with all sorts of funny excuses. For example, see what happens if some vital suggestions such as the following are made:
1. Everyone on earth use one word for America. Let us do the same with other words such as earth, water, air …. Why do we need thousands of words to refer the concepts such as them?
2. Let us avoid all types of gambling (subtle and gross) which has made many rich people poor overnight
3. Let us do …… (we can make hundreds of such suggestions)
It is not God that thwarts the unification attempts (as being made in the God-dishonoring Babel episode where God supposedly confused the language of people). It is the brute in us that would resist all such unifications efforts. Brute has not evolved into humans. It is humans that have evolved,or are evolving into brute. This truth remains protected in some ancient languages. For example, the word for selfishness in those languages is swarth which is a combination of the word swa (soul) and rath (chariot) which implies that there was a time on earth when each one remembered that he was a spirit being clothed in physical body which was the vehicle (chariot) of the soul; then humanity evolved into brute thinking that they are just these physical bodies, and thinking in terms of my-ness and mine-ness which are at the root of all problems!

Theory of Evolution and humanity are moving in parallel, and in opposite direction too!
by iconoclastic inproponents of evolution theory was comfortable with their easiest method of induction that says something like this: i saw a blind man in the us, then in russia, then in australian, then in africa ..., hence all men are blind.
yet proofs are abundant for the decline (opposite of evolution) we experience globally!.
1) most humans declined into greed, the result of which is climate change which has the potential to wipe out all life from the earth.

Your one sentence tells that you are closing your eyes towards facts: “Religions have not "declined into divisiveness". More people = more religions. Also nothing to do with evolution. Nothing.”
Religion goes divisive once its founder leaves the stage (1 Corinthians 1:12, 13). It has nothing to do with population increase.
Also question arise—why should religion go divisive if population increases? Also, what did over 41000 Christian sects accomplish by being divisive other than giving a massage to their collective ego?

What did early Christians believe about the dead?
by fulltimestudent inas witnesses we were truly convinced that we knew the truth about the dead.
they were truly dead, and we often quoted ecclesiastes 9:4-6, our favourite proof text on that topic, to prove the point.
that text reads (just in case you've already forgotten it - smile), (from the niv):.

Like any scripture in the world, Ecclesiastes too contains contradictions—in one place it says that nothing survives after one dies, but in places like 12:7 it says “his spirit” survives the death of the physical body. This leaves us to resort to our own reason! Danah Zohar, who teaches at the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme, Oxford University , and psychiatrist Dr Ian Marshall in their 2001 book, SQ: Connecting With Our Spiritual Intelligence, observe that “while computers have IQ and animals can have EQ, it is essentially an SQ that sets human beings apart“. So, for the `wheel of life' to roll smoothly, all the spokes of the wheel -IQ, EQ and SQ -have to be equally developed.
The journey from IQ to SQ represents moving from gross to subtle, finite to infinite, tangible to intangible. SQ has several dimensions: compassion, wholeness, self-esteem, gratitude, spirit of surrender and service and the ego. Handling the ego is a critical dimension. When one realizes that even ego is a just thought, an attachment to a false image what I am not, one leaves out two costumes—gross (physical body) and subtle (ego), and what remains is the real “I” which is capable of being aware of itself. If something could be aware of itself, it could be non-composite. And if it is non-composite, it will be “minuter than then minutest” in form, hence will not be subject to physical eye or scientific equipments, but it can only be discerned, or understood.
Everyone would agree that knowledge exists, and it follows if knowledge exists, knower too exists—and this knower is immaterial (and some are even capable of premonition, clairvoyance … something they get without the help of physical senses)

Evolution theory is like fly that tries to fly against a storm or an avalanche. Evolution theory indirectly implied that we humans are the evolute through lower beings (which obviously means things/organisms evolve into something better). Yet history of humanity show otherwise. Most humans worship convenience, and each time one does something convenient, he is travelling on the road to greed. He seeks short cuts. Look the way he turned hunting innocent animals! He started this easy method of obtaining food because agriculture seemed to be too difficult for him, as it required a continuous process of putting forward effort to produce.
Whereas sitting behind a stone, waiting for innocent animals to come along, and destroying and eating them seemed to be the easier way! The food we eat and the thoughts and actions that spring forth from us have a distinct relationship. ‘Garbage in, garbage out’ seems to be true of our bodies too. If you put toxic food, or garbage, into your system, the texture of your thoughts and actions has a tendency to become more un-reconciling, selfish, less concerned for others, and lusty -and potentially dangerous to society. Did vegetarians evolving into non-vegetarians help? Did it bring any better results?
