"I read only non-fiction..."

hi all you wonderful folks!.

i know a couple of people who made the above statement recently and got to thinking about it.

the way i see it a comparison could be made between fiction and non-fiction & art and photography.. both have their places, but art changes the original to match what the artist sees.

Can Lawyers assist on Judicial Committees?

do you know of any judicial committee cases, were the victim brought a lawyer to defend him or something similar?

at least during the inquisition they could athough it was rear!.

You cannot really enforce your right to counsel in the US if it is not a criminal matter. Unless they are breaking any laws or violate civil rights, the courts don't have any say over how the witnesses run their roost.

Not that I agree with that....I think you should be allowed to have a witness, no matter whom you choose, be it a lawyer or a relative or a friend.

So....Dub A is travelling to the convention center from his city, 300 miles east of the convention center. Dub B is 100 miles west of the convention center. If Dub A is travelling at the rate of 50 miles per hour, how fast would Dub B have to travel to crash head on into Dub A, sending all mags and brochures flying?

Working with JWs

has anyone out there had experience of working for or with jws?.

is it just me, or are they the worst people to work with....they "use" anybody for their own ends, they expect everyone else to make allowances for their life style but are not prepared to make allowances for anyone else's, they do as little as they can for as long as they can and have absolutely no loyalty to their employers or fellow workers!!.

my recent experience is that they also will be "economical" with the truth (the real truth), as long as it benefits them.. maybe i'm a bit biased, but i would never want to work with or for another witness ever again!

I worked with the sister that studied with me at two different companies. She was the hardest and most honest worker there.

However, the people that cleaned the first office we worked together in were a witness couple. The boss hated them because the guy did a fairly crappy job and was constantly whining and getting into arguments with him.

I know a brother that was a painter that fired two of his workers when he found out they were gay.

i got this from someone from a list where a lot of them are experimenting with magnetic cranial stim, (on themselves) actually their stuff is low current with specific waveform patterns, sounds like a better way to go.

Actually, I read in Information week today that there is a study in Australlia going on where magnets are place on certain parts of the brain and the test subject is able to think more objectively for a short period of time. The study came about an severly austic girl was studied. Apparantly she can draw extremely detailed pictures although she seems to be unaware of her surroundings. (Fairly commen with many austic people.) Anyhoo, they were able to pinpoint what area of the brain controls subjectivity and found that those ares in her brain where not working correctly. So that is where they place the magnets.

let's say that one believes jesus was god's son, and that he was perfect, etc.. well, what about this: what if you don't agree with jesus, or god on many things.. i have never thought about that before.
