THE IMPORTANCE OF MAKING OUT A WILL
by Dansk inthis morning claire and i saw our solicitor and finalised our wills, the originals being left in his care and keeping.
i post this as a wake up call to anyone who hasn't yet made a last will and testament.. we have had to make sure that our two daughters, who are still active jws, receive absolutely nothing because we all know that part of anything they would receive would be donated to the society.
that cannot be allowed to happen.

How about this: is there any way that you could set up a trust for your daughters, where it specifically states that they are NOT allowed to give any of the money to the WTS? Is that possible?
I pose the question not just for you, but for others that fear leaving money to their kids may line the WTS pockets.

We had this awesome very masculine kitty, and when we got him fixed, he seemed rather depressed for a while. But then he was back to his ol' scrappy self. Just wasn't as "built" as he was before he got fixed. He went from an AHHHNOLD kitty to a metrosexual kitty. But he was still a hoot. One thing that didn't change was the fact that he had an alter to worship him. He refused to be pet unless he was on the washing machine. Very odd...sometimes he would be sprawled on the couch, one of us would be scratching his belly, and all of a sudden he would get up and jump on the washing machine. He start to meow if you didn't get there quick enough to offer more scratching and petting.

Robert I agree with you there. There definately will be a generation or two that will be hurt by these changes, so those generations...I think those now in there late 30, 40s and 50s really need to do what they can to rev up their retirement savings out side of SS.
HOWEVER, I think these changes could mean something good for those younger generations after us.
