solstice, meaning "sun standing still".
now the sun will begin it's ascent from it's southern-most journey (tropic of capricorn 23.5 degrees south) to the north.
persephone has gone back to the underworld to spend 3 months with her captor hades.
ok all, my lovey and i are planning for the first song of our wedding to come after our vows are spoken, the ceremony ends, and he and i are going back down the aisle and into the house.
we want everyone to follow us in order from the first row back, and we'll go in and cut the cake.
thing is, we want a song to start as we head back down the aisle.
Actually, that is a pretty cool song. I view my hubby as my best friend too. Don't forget to throw some ABBA in there...they are always good for a wedding...the happy songs...not the break up songs. =) I am not sure why, but I think Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds" alwasy works during the reception. Now, I told my husband he is to play "I've had the time of my life" at my funeral, and a few other songs...I don't think he will though hahaha.
yes you read that correctly, but first let me say that i'm not going to learn anything (as if that would happen anyway), but i'm going to gloat.. the last couple of times i went there a few months ago was because i was being forcedstrongly encouraged (http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/9/74780/1202255/post.ashx#1202255) and i felt intimidated when i went.
now that i have become a regular reader of various discussions here, i know i can walk in there with my head held high and look at them with just as much disgust in my eyes as they have in theirs because i haven't been begging to come back to such a unloving and hateful organization.. i also want to take a good look at my step-mother.
i know for a fact that things on the homefront have been much less than a "loving theocratic atmosphere" between her and my father.
When you get out of the org, you are supposed to use your clear thinking and new sight to better yourself. Going to gloat, my friend, is just sad. Use your free on Sunday to do something productive. I don't thinking letting your stepmother know that you know that they know that she knows....blah blah is very kind or loving. Be the bigger person and skip the meeting on Sunday.
lately i have been arguing with my father about my beliefs and such.
i belive that the wbts is not the faithful and discrete slave and i don't agree with many of the wbts techings.
the easiest way for me to do this is to discredit the bible but this isn't working with my father.
hey guys,.
we have roadrunner and i'm so disappointed in it i could scream.
when it works, it really is fast.
I had some issues with our comcast cable isp, but they finally got worked out. For us, cable is much better than DSL because we do really notice a difference; all my kids are online a lot, and my husband does a lot of intense online gaming, as does my son, and my husband sometimes does a lot of programming and conversation stuff that would be much slower using the dsl. The truth of the matter is this: all services are NOT equal in all areas. I know people that love Earhtlink DSL or Verizon or SBC and those that hate it. I know some that love comcast, and some that hate it. I have found that it depends on their area. You should check out broadbandreports.com. It is a pretty useful site in seeing what is available in your area. I think DSL would probablly be fine for your family. Like one of the earlier posters said, there are a lot of people that won't notice the speed, or even need it if it does work. Be careful though: some DSL providers require that you sign a yearly contract, so make sure you investigate how well they perform in YOUR AREA. check the reviews online by people that live in your are. Ask your neighbors what they are using etc. Good luck!
its funny that when i imagine what other posters look like - i alway imagine them as attractive, fit, well groomed, with bright, shiny happy faces.
i never see them as obese, nerdy, or with greasy hair and warts and pimples.
their noses are never too big - no body has a "comb-over.
