Possible Jackson show at Vegas

donald trump and some others have a vested interest in some casinos in vegas.

trump has expressed some interest in having michael jackson perform at one of the casinos.

he has back peddled some, but still, it gives an interesting idea.. i would imagine it would be quite a show.. the question i have for you is, would you go see it?

If Michael was doing a show behind bars to raise money for his victims, and he sang songs from the 80s then sure, I would attend.

is he innocent...god...I tell you...this is like the OJ case. I think the police framed a guilty man in that case, so they lost. I think their might be something to the Jacko case, but there are soooo many demented people with nefarious motives testifying...who can be sure....

and if he isn't guilty of molestation...have a concert to raise some money so he can fund research to grow him a real nose and get back to a human skill color. I have never seen any white man as white as mikey...except for a few albinos here and there.

How Do I Tell My Mom

recently i got engaged.

the problem is we are going to have a pagan wedding according to our beliefs.

my mother, a devout jw, already knows that we are getting married so i can't not invite her to the wedding.

I think the right thing would be honest with your mom, but also be understanding if she chooses not to attend. Really, I think it would be very difficult for any serious JW to attend a Wiccan wedding, given the JW beliefs. But that could be said of many devote Baptists, Catholics, etc.

If you really want a Wiccan wedding, then all means...have one! If your mom feels she cannot go, respect her wishes. Let her know you are sorry she cannot attend, but leave it at that. I think it would be worse NOT to invite her. If she says, "if I had known it was Wiccan, I wouldn't have wanted to be invited" then just calmly say: "Mom, I want you to be a part of my life no matter what religion you are. It is your choice, I respect that, but I don't want you to think I was snubbing you, and you should know."

If your mom attends, then good for her! If she doesn't, chalk it up to the dub in her...not that she doesn't love you.

by the way...one of the things that disgusted me the most was how Franz had devoted his entire life to the WTS, but then got booted out, and was forced to fend for himself financially.

You know, a lot is said about the Catholic Church, but at least they will take care of thier priests and nuns that serve them.

Reading COC for me didn't make me leave. I had already left the year before. BUT it did help me feel better about my decision.

There are some disturbing things in there. If you are thinking of leaving anyway, well, it may help to push you. But, if you are just curious, it probably won't. Things that happen in that book were quite a while ago. Witnesses that truly believe in the WTS can reason that they governing body is not perfect, and one man's bad experience, and lack of faith, should make you leave. blah blah blah...and make you feel very guilty.

Hey, I say read it either way...you have a right to know the real story behind Franz leaving.

Michael Jackson's Belt...

i've seen several reports (tv and magazines) that michael jackson recently wore a belt to court that had five crowns hanging from it.

the reports said that his mother told him to wear it because the five crowns is a jw belief that represents rightousness.

i was a jw for 21 years, and left only 4 years ago.

I think the Jackson's version of Jehovah's Witnesses vary a great deal from mainstream witnesses. They are just wackos....even more than the normal witnesses.

jesus was the first one to resurrect for eternal life.

every christian religion celebrates jesus' resurrection.

why don't the witnesses also celebrate this important event?

Wow...this is so funny that this is posted here today. I was driving home from Wal-Mart today, wondering the same thing. Why the heck doesn't anyone rejoice over that? I mean, that is Jesus' reward isn't it? He held up his end of the bargain...off he goes to his promotion!

Jesus: whether you are really god's son, god, or just another human that was able to change the world (a much more powerful martin luther king jr) I say THANK YOU! You really kicked things up a notch! Some for the good, some for the not so good...but I believe your intentions were pure. Despite all the warped things religion has done to your imagine, you are a good guy in my book, and even though I don't consider myself "christian" I personally learned from your teachings about forgiveness, and knowing that sometimes it really is better to turn the other cheek. Cannot agree with you on all the decisions you made, BUT I respect the fact that you were a man that made a stand. If we could all live up to the principles we believed in, we would all be better humans.

So, THANKS, DUDE!

Hmmm...so let me get this straight...she was married when he started seeing her, and he expected her to stay faithful once they got married?

Sound like he got rich after they got married....hmmm...so that probably had a LOT to do with the fact that she got so much.

If her infidelity wasn't the only problem, sounds like the infidelity was the straw the broke the camel's back. Cheating is BAD BAD BAD!!! of course..now, if he had been rich BEFORE they got married...I would have said...PRENUPITIAL...that's what they are for.
