Crazy accident in my city today
by frozen one ini'm sure everyone has met semi-trucks hauling large pieces of construction equipment while driving down the highway.
ever considered what would happen if that equipment came off the trailer?.
the machine came off the truck to the left, bounced over the barrier, flew over the gap, hit the barrier on the freeway opposite, and landed in the grass below.

the bike is gorgeous. i'll agree victory has come out with some great designs. the hammer holds a special place in my heart.
yay that warmer weather is here. if it's in the 50's this weekend, i will hopefully be strappin on my leathers for a little jaunt to cure just a bit of the spring fever. enjoy your new baby!!!!!

i saw it yesterday with jo. our conclusion was that, yes, it's a sad movie. however, what i took out of it was that without the component of the homosexual relationship, the situation is very similar to so many people i know. there are plenty of people in marriages they don't want to be in, living lives that are basically a lie and for various reasons will never leave them.

Would you buy a new car on a 60 month loan?
by Elsewhere ini have never done a 60 month loan and i have sworn i never would... but with how much cars are costing these days i'm wondering if i will have to do a 60 month loan on my next car.
that is five frigg'in years!
i paid cash for my last car ($4,500 - 1999 ford contour se, used) so i had no payments to make.

that's probably just ford list price though. you can pick one up at a dealer for alot less. the new, completely loaded 500 my folks just bought was only like $24k and he said they could've gotten the same options in a taurus at the same dealer for $17k. it pays to shop around and check the deals.

i think it's always a good idea to check around--check consumer reports, talk to people, etc. my brother is/was a mechanic and i always ask his opinion before i buy anything. his main advice is never buy the first model year of a new vehicle or body style. there tend to be alot of problems and that's when they work the bugs out. also, some companies are better about doing recalls, etc. he did say that jeep was the worst when it came to that--most companies would recall vehicles if there tended to be alot of a certain type of malfunction. jeep wouldn't. they'll send out service bulletins to the shop, but won't ever do a recall--less money out of their pocket.
