i've found that Watkins salve works really great. i burned the pads of three of my fingers once while cooking (grabbed a hot pizza stone with an oven mitt on and it burned me through the oven mitt). i had blisters within a few mins. i put the salve on, without popping the blisters, put bandaids on them and chilled out. in the morning, my fingers didn't hurt a bit.

lucy, i'm sorry you're such a bitter person. it's great that you help other kids and you can be there for them. i'm glad you find it very rewarding. you must have had a terrible childhood for your mother to say that her dreams could have come true without her children. to me, that is the most selfish thing i've heard on this whole thread. you can only blame so many of your problems on the jw's, then you have to start taking responsibility for yourself, actions and choices. this isn't directed just at you, i guess it's just a statement that i felt needed to be made.
children are definitely our future. if you think there are too many bad things in this world, how do you plan on changing them?

lucy, if you have no desire to reproduce, great, then don't. as far as society putting this on us as women, well i don't know of any men who possess ovaries and a uterus, until that happens, yes, women in society will still continue to bear children. i'm sorry, but that's just the way it is.
