  as many of you know, i've been writing letters to family members telling them how damn stupid i think the gb is; providing proofs of all their comedic gaffs (building mansions for prophets and the like) including some of their most outlandish quotes-which i know all of us can remember verbatim.

  spurned on by mary and others in this site, i've decided that i will try a new ploy.

  my family reunion is every labor day and i've decided to wear a tee shirt to it with russell, rutherford, and franz's images on it... i will include images of a pyramid, beth sarim, on the front and 607?

  Were you or someone you know sexually molested by a Jehovah's Witness ?

  due to the fact there are about 27,000 members of this religion that are known pedophiles, and the information about it is kept in a secret database file, i wonder how many lurking jw's as well as others are aware of the severity of this problem?

  remember, it's 27,000 pedophiles that they know about.

  what about the thousands that don't get caught?

  Mr. Flipper here again. Wow!! Enjoy all the variety among you in music. Even though Stairway to Heaven by Zeppelin is my favorite song, I still like alot of groups. Red Hot Chili Peppers are awesome, Beatles,Pink Floyd, blues artists, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf to name a few. Keep it comin!! Great posts. We all enjoy!!, Peace out, Mr Flipper

  what was the strangest/worst counsel you recieved from elders ?

  having been in the organization for 30 years, after i got out i reflected on this.

  as a teenager i was told to not let my hair grow over my ears because i might stumble other young ones in the congregation.

  also, in order to carry the microphones i was told i couldn't wear white socks, had to wear black or dark blue socks.

  Hello ya'll. Flipper here again. Thanks for all your posts. Wuz a dummy- Theres no rhyme or reason in elders counsel. You're right , police & lawyers care more. All Along the Watchtower- Fade!Fade! Fade!!! Paralipomen- I think you risk your life more being a witness than a firefighter!! Roller Dave- Yeah, people have been shot and killed going in field service. Green dawn- Screw field service, so many better ways to spend your time. Munkafats- Run like hell, your spiritual house is on fire!!! Troubled Mind- You're right, the elders are'nt trained professionals. They can't help you. Hope your son is speaking to girls now. Peace to you. Long Hair Gal- You don't owe anybody anything.   Legal Liability towards JW Organization for Abuse

  i was just wondering if anyone has heard of any lawsuits against the jw organization being held accountable for sexual, physical or mental child abuse?

  if a child goes to an elder and asks for help, aren't they legally responsible to ensure the childs safety by going to the authorities (police, not governing body)?.

  Sassy- Yes there have been and are in the process right now alot of lawsuits being thrown at the Jehovah's Witness org. about this issue as we speak. The 16 the junction guy mentioned would of gone to court, had the Witness lawyers not agreed to a settlement with the victims of abuse there in California. If the witnesses hadn't settled out of court, the courts would have forced them to release names of over 25,000 pedophiles they have in their database system. I know for a fact more of these lawsuits are in the works, because I personally talked with Bill Bowen, founder of Silent Lambs ( a child abuse help organization for witness molestation victims) a couple of days ago on the phone and he verified it. Look at the threads on this board dealing with child abuse. As junction guy mentions some states might have what they call "clergy penitent privilege" which means they can keep confidential information and names of molesters when counseling molestation victims. But not in California anymore as of October 2006. The lid was blown off that when the witness attorneys were trying to conceal these 16 molestation victims ordeals by claiming they needed this "clergy confidentiality to help victims". The courts ruled against the witnesses, saying, "You can't keep it from the authorities and confidential if it's felony child abuse and endangerment". Right on!!! So the witnesses were forced to either settle out of court with these victims or they'd have to hand over all the names of their 27,000 pedophiles on their secret database system they have. We all hope it helps reveal more as time goes on and peace to all abuse victims.

  Friendly talk with a couple of elders

  last week i received a home visit from a couple of elders because they were concerned about my spirituality.

  and lack of progress.

  i said so you can guarantee the end will be here in 5 years.

  Too Bad, Too Sad- Mr. Flipper here.My mom and dad came into the organization in 1951, dad's been an elder since 1953 and they are early 80's. I left the org. 4 years ago, and whenever my wife and I visit if we ever bring up a news story it's sure a lead in for my dad to say "well you know the end's getting closer". I feel so sorry that my parents are duped in that too, they've given most of their adult life to this org. But I'm trying to shed some "new light " of my own to them about the molestation coverups, and it's having good results in my mom giving a listening ear. So we'll see what happens, ya never know. But I'm afraid if my dad has a epitaph on his tombstone when he dies it will be, " the End was Near". Crazy, isn't it, this nuts organization?? Peace out, Mr. Flipper

  We all feel the pain of the WT, now what will we do about it?

  i just wanted to make one simple statement... i've heard many say that they can't get out of this bull, they just faded so they wouldn't have to deal with all the issues that are sure to arise if they use confrontation.

  many have said they can't stand to lose family members and the like and that's why they've chasen to fade rather then speak out.

  here's what i've lost becasue i've chosen to tell the truth about the bastards.

  Dawg- Mr. Flipper here. I agree with you. I have lost 2 young adult daughters who just got married, and neither one would let me walk them down the aisle because of my leaving the org. 4 years ago. Went to the weddings and my wife and I were dignified and respectful, so I hope I taught my daughters something, who knows?? But I am informing all my family of the molestation coverup by the org. and have left them all copies of the news releases. My mom actually was sickened by it, wanted to know more, but one daughter said," It's just Jehovah clearing things up, cleaning out the organization. " I agree with you that we have to keep trying to help people see the badness of this cult. Mrs. Flipper and I left about 200 news releases of the molestation abuse in KH car windows, shopping mall parking lots, etc. Gotta do what we gotta do. Keep it up dude, Peace out, Mr. Flipper

  On the Way Out- The end is so near because as they might claim, because look at the increase in some developing countries in their numbers. Also I agree with heathen, there better damn well be an increase, because they need to convince themselves and older members to give over their wills, property, inheritances, stocks retirement funds, anything of value contribution wise which will keep them afloat in the years ahead. To them they will convince the rank and file it's an evidence of "Jehovers spirit" on the org. making it grow with, what did they call it, their members," precious things"??? Makes ya want to yank!!! We thought they were abusing children bad, which they are, what about the old people who have given years of their life?? They are seriously duped. Poor saps

  flipper the female mammal here... this is so much fun to read - it's reminding me of so many songs I forget about,and gets the music addiction going strong. (really..I have to stay away from music stores) More of mine - Rivers of Babylon by Sublime, Moussoldu by Salif Keita, Sideways by Carlos Santana with Citizen Cope, and Put your Lights On by Santana with everlast which Mr f on vocals and my stepson on guitar did a great job on tonight, it was very nice. flipper
