  US military buildup on the Iranian border...

  moscow, march 27 (ria novosti) - russian military intelligence services are reporting a flurry of activity by u.s. armed forces near iran's borders, a high-ranking security source said tuesday.

  "the latest military intelligence data point to heightened u.s. military preparations for both an air and ground operation against iran," the official said, adding that the pentagon has probably not yet made a final decision as to when an attack will be launched.

  he said the pentagon is looking for a way to deliver a strike against iran "that would enable the americans to bring the country to its knees at minimal cost.

  i recently watched the borat movie.

  i was a bit disappointed but i saw one scene on tv which is not part of the movie that impressed me.

  "borat" made a whole bunch of americans sing an anti-semitic song and nobody was thinking about what they were doing.

  They finally found me...

  knock on the door this morning.... a nice little witnoid lady is at my door... hands me a tract (i think it was a memorial invite)...and says.... "i'd like to give you an invitation to an "event"...that the whole community is talking about".... how sad... they resort to lying and misrepresentation... on the simplest of matters.. i handed it back and said no thanks... she turned and left.. that is the first contact the borg has had with me in almost 5 years... hope it's another 5 before i see one again.... p&c.

  If you had to, what religion would you choose to be?

  you can answer this as seriously (lt) or as inanely (buttlight) as you like!

  i was reflecting having read someone's thread about blowing off non jw family that actually it would have been so much better if i had a larger family, preferably not completely jw saturated and this random train of thought led me to thinking that if i could choose i would be catholic, because then i would have a huge family, go to really nice gothic churches with lots of candles and tortured saints and be able to go to confession (instead of lt's mobile).

  also the colours of the whore of babylon always were a lot more enticing to me than the mild blues and undistracting beiges of the khs.. i think we all have religions which would suit our personalities so much better.

  i will tell you two true stories and you judge for yourself..

  few days ago i was listening on the news how some old man came to kindergarten and picked up a child.

  half an hour later some other people came who turned out to be real parents of the child and were basically told that child was picked up by a strange old man.

  Does anyone wonder why it is that number of law graduates had gone up exponentially while the number of doctors had stayed about the same?

  ... it's easier...more lucrative...and has almost no chance of malpractice being an issue...It is NOT because people are concerned about "justice"...

  That and no catheters, blood or phlegm to deal with....hehehe...

  few days ago i was listening on the news how some old man came to kindergarten and picked up a child.

  half an hour later some other people came who turned out to be real parents of the child and were basically told that child was picked up by a strange old man.

  I find it hard to believe that America or even the "Western" world is alone in this regard.

  So just where is this perfect "culture" and "society" that "we" always seem to be inferior too....France?

  Some people pay too much attention to everything... and literally miss the forest for the trees.

  People only live about 80 years... and people are pretty much the same the world over... and by "people" I don't mean the Hollywood elite and the false notions they portray in most of their so-called "entertainment"...
