i'm having grits, canned salmon, tuna, and chicken for breakfast.

It's 12:28pm here.
Dinner is cooking : Roast Lamb, roast potatoes, steamed vegetables, stuffing, yorkshire puddings (yes with lamb - but we love them) and gravy.
Looking something like this :
That will be followed by home made cookies and ice-cream.
Tea / Supper will only be something light (if anything) and an early night will follow as I had a late night (3:30am) chasing a virus on my computer !!!!

Any theme for 2008 Conventions Yet? Why or why not?

personally, i think it's another silly wts 'much ado about nothing' ploy.
get people all excited that it's going to be something special, and the theme is just another banal idea that no one will remember much beyond the announcement.

Traffic Jams - We Are ONE BODY

I think of it like this while driving it's very easy to be on auto-pilot, something about the rhythm of the road. Ever pull into your driveway after a long drive and you can't remember the drive home? That's auto-pilot or as the experts describe it the Alpha State. For me it's the best time to solve a problem when I'm in Alpha State and I try to take advantage of it all the time.
About the collecting and delivering I look at it this way when we are in the Alpha State we are in a harmonic vibrational connectedness with the Universe and therefore en-mass with others doing the same thing all connected at the same time. It would make perfect sense to focus on the "package" or thoughts we have towards others while we are in this heightened state.
"Alpha state" - I'd forgotten all about that - it's kind of fitting. I guess that I "use" it too but without being aware that that is what I am doing. I'll have to do a bit more reading about that - thank you. Watkins :
I don't think I've ever alpha-zoned through an entire drive, but more than a few times I've 'come to' during a drive, confused at not recognising exactly where I was for a second or 2 and then realizing I'd lost several miles. We think too deeply, eh? But it is pretty cool that we have somewhat of an auto-pilot mode - reaction time must be affected tho, maybe.
Anyway, Alpha-Omega - very cool thoughts! You know those commercials that have a picture in a picture in a picture - then the view widens and you see it's a huge picture made-up of all the small ones - looks like millions - each one an intrinsic part of the whole - that's how I've viewed it before. Also, as individual vibrations on wavelengths in an electic universe - the string theory makes perfect sense to me!
But the way you expressed this 'oneness' and the receiving and delivering, good and bad - that is unique and beautifully harmonious - I love it. Thanks for sharing that.

If "everyone" were spiritual anointed it would mean that "Jehovah's Organization" is null and void since now everyone could make personal decisions. Afraid that will never happen.
You'd think so, but after they have taken the "awe" of the anointed away - I can see it happening. One day - but maybe not yet. As for "personal decisions", that would imply that currently, the "anointed" are allowed to do as they please - but we all know that isn't the case.

My guess is that is going to be less to do with the anointed and more to do with the Governing Body as the May 1st "Questions From Readers (Readers in the Writing Department)" - elevated the GB above the anointed as the GB are "more experienced".
Maybe the following phrase in the March 1st Watchtower :
Children of God on Earth
Jehovah is also gathering "the things on the earth," that is, millions of people earth wide, in order that they can eventually become his earthly children.
Maybe that suggests that the millions of people on the Earth will "eventually" become his children WHEN THEY ARE READY / WHEN THEY CHOOSE TO - thereby making it a personal decision whether one is included or not ????
