  Any tech nerds out there? I need help :/

  ok so on of my nerdy things is that i'm totally addicted to new cell phones.

  and since i totally believe in beating "the man" i use cricket service and get flashed phones.

  well i recently got a new one, a samsung sch u740, and am needing to change some settings on it to get the wap and mms to work, but i need the correct version of qpst, as well as samsungpst (not samsung pstlite, but the full version).

  yesterday i spent ages looking for a pair of glasses that i seldom wear.

  i looked at work, then at home, then in the car.. i checked a bag in the car 3 times !

  i couldn't find them.. this morning i awoke determined to find them.

  why does the WTS try to explain how good medically NO BLOOD IS?

  looking at the questions to go over for the blood video, it looks like and i have heard in the past how the wts expounds about the medical positives of not taking blood, and rails against blood for all the problems, diseases, and the fact that it does not always work........... the real question is....... why do they even waste time on that if the issue is supposed to be a biblical/scriptural restriction.?.

  even if taking blood was the best thing in the world for you , the wts stance is that the bible and jehovah forbid it, end of story.

  there is really no need to try to convince people who want to supposedly follow jehovah's command to abstain from blood.

  do they just try to use medical "evidence" to persuade JW's even more to not take blood, or scare them with medical "what if's" to avoid blood? even though that evidence has NO bearing on what they think your view of blood should be, because according to them it is a SCRIPTURAL ISSUE, NOT A MEDICAL ONE!!!!!

  I think that's the answer.

  I have spoken with several JWs that have all told me that even if they were DF'd (a couple were), that they would not take blood due to the dangers involved.

  So the WT know that they are on dodgy ground with the "blood argument" from scripture so they add the "fear factor" in for good measure to clinch the deal.

  Big Announcement on next Service meeting

  there seems to be a very important announcement this coming weeking on the next service meeting, forme it will be on wednesday 30th jan.. during the last 2 meetings they have asked that every batized jw be at that meeting and even to tell others who might not have heard the annoucement.. anyone here have any ideas i wouldn't be surprised if they are changing meeting times and arrangments...less meeting at is !.

  My dad "leaked" to me that a special talk IS coming up... no idea if this related.

  Sounds likely as there is a "special" talk coming up in April. I don't know the subject though
