Pondering the real numbers
by Deltawave ini was sat in the assembly hall yesterday, wondering how many pimo ones like me there was there.
or even if they don't know ttatt still don't believe it for whatever reason.. i think there must be more of (us) there than we all realise.
i mean, brothers reaching out is at an all time low, information via the internet is at an all time high and the preaching work has now become a motionless, speechless babysitting of a book shelf advertising a website as someone here pointed out!.

She was relating how she has been persecuted by her teacher because she wouldn't sing the national anthem at school. The persecution was so horrific, she had to read a book in a hallway (yawn)
What a complete waste of day, although I did get to sit and relax for a few hours which I wouldn't have done normally.

Classic situation at Circuit Assembly Day
by freddo inso i've just skived off to the car park half way through our assembly day - what a classic morning.. i'm sat right behind an early-teen kid with some sort of special needs (autistic?
) who's sat with what looks like his late-30's harassed single parent mother.
(or married to an unbelieving mate?

Has waking up ever made you physically ill?
by fizzle inhas waking up ever made you physically ill?
perhaps because of the emotional strain etc..?.
if if so what were / are the symptoms?.

Hi all,
Yes I became very ill indeed. I was hitting the gym 3-4 times a week and running a successful business while regular pioneering.
However, a series of events lead me to consider both sides of the argument and take a peak at what apostates were saying. I read CoC and went to my elders for answers to the issues raised by the book and apostates.
They gave me NO answers aand instead swore me to silence with the threat of a JC. I have too many family and friends to lose so I agreed.
I also had a complete nervous breakdown, attempted suicide and become very ill.
My whole world, my belief system and all that I had been raised to believe was a lie.
I would never wish to be responsible for taking anyone's hope away, no matter how deluded that hope was.

I have been doing some research and JWS are the true religion :0D
by Deltawave ini apologise for the sarcastic title, lol.
so anyways i have been doing some research over the years and it would seem that evidence can be gathered to support any claim a person can make.
evolutionists see evidence of evolution, creationists see evidence of creation and each religion can find an excuse to call itself the true religion.

Evolutionists see evidence of evolution, creationists see evidence of creation and each religion can find an excuse to call itself the true religion. In fact, even people who believe in lizard aliens that control the world can find evidence to support their claim! Check out Annuaki on YouTube for more info on that ha.
So, I am inclined to take a neutral view of all religions, dogma and faiths. Religious neutrality would seem the only sensible option to avoid upsetting any God or Deity while at the same time maintaining that all religions and faiths can not stand up to honest scrutiny or inspection. This way I am neither offensive nor submissive to any theology and open to all ideas worthy of further research. Religious neutrality makes me... no part of the world!

Conversation with JW mom on this years memorial date and Nissan 14 discrepancy.
by Question_Mans_interpretation ini'm having an ongoing texting conversation with my mom right now on the march 23rd memorial date.
she completely goes into cult mode.. me: why is the memorial on march 23rd this year and not april 22nd/23rd when the corresponding nissan 14 commences?
since when did the organization stop following the jewish calendar for passover?.

t should be pointed out that the Jewish calendar leap year designations are NOT Biblical.
Let's add a little more detail: The spring equinox occurs on March 20th at 4:40 PM, Jerusalem time. The Jewish calendar calculates the new moon of Adar II (the 13th month of the previous religious calendar year) to be at 9:31 PM on March 8th and, due to the postponements of the previous Tishri 1, March 11th as the first day of the month. Either day will place the 14th day of Adar II on or after the spring equinox and thus the month should be Nisan (Abib), not Adar II. The result of this error is that the Jewish calendar is ONE MONTH LATE from March 2016 through March 2017! By making 5776 a leap year, they ignore the fact that, by their own interpretation of the Torah, Passover must be observed at the first opportunity on or after the spring equinox. This is the way the lunar calendar is kept synchronized with the solar calendar, and is an essential part in keeping the Passover (and every other Holy Day) in its season

What are the biggest holes in the ransom sacrifice?
by Half banana inhow honest are the proponents of jesus as the ransom sacrifice?.
curious to see what type of response there is on a topic like this or does their study only seek to confirm their preconceptions and ignore uncomfortable facts?.

The teaching of the ransom used to really touch my heart. The whole God loved the world so much thing.... But then I realised how the Bible condems human sacrifices to upease the Gods of Baal and Yahweh wanted exactly that. A human sacrifice to upease his desire for vengeance. Strange that I thought this was a wonderful loving idea?!
