At night I love to be in bed listening to the rain falling on the roof. It is soothing. I hate rainy days though.
They are dismal, dreary, and depressing. I have SAD, too, and just dusted off my light box.

the thread on spiritism got me thinking about all the ridiculous things the jw's in my hall blamed on satan.
like their kid getting a cold and they had to miss the meeting or getting a flat tire on saturday, thus missing field service.. i always wondered if satan is such a powerful spirit creature, why the hell would he waste his time flattening tires or causing a runny nose?
you would think he would be causing wwiii or another plague or something!.
Does anybody remember where the phrase, "The Devil made me do it", originated from. My memory tells me it was some TV show in the 70's or 80's. It's bugging me.
Just a guess, but 'The Flip Wilson Show' maybe?
i recently saw my jw brother and sil and listened to them talk about poor sister sick(o) who has been diagnosed with major mental problems.
she went to the doctor's and the doctor supposedly began to berate her out of the blue because she is a jehovah's witness.
now the family wants to have the doctor formally rebuked for his so called "discriminatory comments".
Because it's not the "Truth", but, rather, the "Big, Fat Lie".

this was yesterday:.
well girl, i have done a lot of thinking lately.
Sorry, Renee. She has put you on quite the crazy, roller-coaster ride. I agree with Mrs. Jones and Scully.
when i interviewed for my position my now boss asked me why i didn't have a degree.
my mind filtered out "well you see sir i wasn't allowed to go to college and without that hope basically glided through high school and then went to a trade school so that i could eat.
" instead i told him that it was one of my major goals.
Wonderful! I wish you the best, and think you have an awesome boss.

macon,ga.- religious freedom is a wonderful thing.
Makes me think of that door sign someone posted yesterday that said something like,
"You may have the word, but I have the rottweiler and he hates people who ring my doorbell"
i'm not proud of this.
i went to my dads grave, bearing in mind that i am the only one in the family that ever places flowers on it.
mum had visited and put a bunch of silk roses on it.. i saw red.
Shell, I would have done the same thing. It's good to get angry sometimes. It can be very empowering.
You didn't hurt anybody. I hope you even felt better afterwards, if only for a few minutes.
LOL re: the masking tape! Too funny! Too bad you can't fill it in with something.
or does it mean he's just a lazy bugger who hasn't shaved?
my lady insists i'm nice and smooth but gets all hot and bothered over a bristly ewan mcgregor!

Stubble and well-groomed beards rule!

yep, oompa started today with a new therapist who of course wanted to know if i had anything in particular that was the cause of me seeking his service.
so i kinda gave him a jwcult for dummy therapists cliffnotes version, and he seemed like he just couldn't believe some of it.
he understands my awakening has been difficult for me and the stress it has put on my wife and marriage/family.
Oompa, good for you. I hope he helps you.
LOL. Too funny you counted the hour and placed a book.
