I'm halfway through the book. It disturbs me greatly. I feel the same way as you about the main character, Silence. She makes me angry (or maybe it's the whole premise of the book).

I am really hurt.

Heaven is a hot bath!
by JK666 ina few years ago, i took out my bathtub to help my elderly mother that stays with me and installed a walk in shower.
stand up showers are okay, but i miss taking a leisurely hot bath to relax.
this morning i woke up early, have time to kill, and am in a nice hotel.

WTF! my ex came into my place yesterday....
by feenx inand swiped all the curtains, which will do her no good because she doesn't even have a big sliding glass door to put them on, and she took the friggin sheets of my damn bed...because back when we were living together last year she paid for the stuff.
no warning, nothing.
i come home yesterday from work and there's crap strewn all over from the nicknacks and what not she took and all the windows are bare.

That sucks. Change the locks pronto. I am a woman, so you probably don't need to do this, but I would tell the neighbors she's not welcome there anymore and to call the cops if she comes back.

my wee mum is not long for this world
by ninja inshe has lost over 7 stone due to her cancer and is finding it almost impossible to eat now.....see the difference in a couple of years .. ......she has been giving all her belongings away too recently

I'm on pins & needles. About to get the best birthday present ever!
