  "...was put out because of an unrepentant attitude". The elders did me a huge favor by determining I wasn't repentant. My repentance wasn't good enough for them. It was then and there I discovered, this is it, this is no longer for me. My wife unhesitatingly stopped attending meetings. She knew me better than the elders. Soooooooo, these know it all elders killed two birds with one stone, it was a blessing in disguise!!!!!!

  The concept of "free will" fascinates me...

  It's all about limitations. If you ever played competitive golf, it would be to your advantage to get acquainted with the rules of the game. Golf has more rules than what the Bible gives. Here's a very important point to keep in mind, "the rules of golf are designed to save you strokes" not impede or hamper your game. Golf has boundaries called 'out of bounds'. White stakes on a golf course are boundary lines. Does this boundary stake/line hamper me from exercising my 'free will" to execute my normal golf swing/shot ? That's a choice YOU have to make. I've taken many chances in hitting the ball near the boundry stakes, it would cost me stroke and distance, but I pay the price for not playing the ball away from the hazard. It's happened to me a number of times and I have payed the price, period! I had a free choice. So this free choice comes with boundaries.

  Canadian Dollar almost at Par with the US Dollar

  i don't know if that's good or not...... for companies in canada exporting to the us, it means less profits, so possible layoffs.. for those travelling to the us, it's good news, cause it costs less to buy us money now.. what's your take on this?.

  JH, I saw that in the news this morning. My friend and I keep tabs on gold and silver. Gold has gone up and so will silver in the months to come. It's worth investing in silver. Our 'fiat' money is not backed up by gold or silver!

  i'm not a big fan of surgery.

  i always exhaust all non-surgical options before doing it.

  i know enough about medicine to know that surgery is effectively a controlled injury... and that makes me nervous.

  Tyrone, I agree that many things have been 'hidden', but remember, sooner or later hidden things begin to surface in gradual stages. Are we getting to the stage in history that such acts as pedophilia will be acceptable? Hmmmmm.
