  My lady friend, who's name by the way is Mary, are going with two other couples to have dinner and listen to live music in Montreal. The restaurant is a great place and so is the entertainment.

  hi everyone i hve just found this site by accident its a great site.

  i havent been to the meetings for years but it was very hard to leave as family pressures are on you.i feel like ive got stronger but it takes alot of time.

  i live in australia and its great to be able to talk to people on the same level.

  like sports, work is like a religion to me, i must do something.

  the feeling of accomplishing something everyday gives me a sense of worth, this entails doing small things for others.

  i never tell people what i'm up to, i surprise them.

  Jaguarbass, do you think it's time to add a new dimension to your daily life? Think of things you enjoy doing and do them! They say, life is what YOU make it. Believe me, there are many worthwhile things to do. Opening a door for others especially the elders will bring you a sense of worth. It's the small things.   iam now as what was announced at a recent meeting that iam "no longer a jehovah's witness" all of my family and friends are witnesses so this will ailenate me from all of my friends and family.

  but i feel like i don't want to go back.

  i really hate the feeling of isolation and shamefulness while iam sitting in the meeting, what's the point of it all.

  Don't let what happen to you get you down. All on this forum have been mistreated by the so-called loving witnesses. I've known about the witnesses since the late 40's. Mind you, things were different then, but once they got to big for their britches, everything went hay-wire.

  WTraveller, I was in the construction trade for more than 45 years. Seeing ANY type of man's construction work is awesome. If your a world traveller, you would understand what I'm talking about.
