  i have just read a short review of the book with the above title and i quote :" the last week in the life of jesus christ has puzzled scholars for centuries.what, for example did jesus do on the missing wednesday?why do three gospels say the last supper was a meal celebrated during the jewish passover while the fourth gospel(john) claims it happened before passover?".

  anybody like to make some comments on this?.

  three ministers or elders of the tinian congregation of jehovah's witnesses are asking the superior court to quash the government's subpoena that commands them to appear at a jury trial of a man accused of sexually abusing a girl.. .

  he was loved and admired by many in the vancouver area (and beyond).

  I first learned about this procedure some years ago from this site and the AJWRB site,admittedly Iwas skeptical accepting it as true,and I`ve been out of the religion since 1993,just shows how deeply ingrained in you beleifs can become.

  Haemoglobin-based oxygen carrier-HBOC 201 is a type of synthetic blood. It contains haemoglobin derived from cows blood.

  Maybe..... just maybe...Some jw`s will take their head out of the sand.....,seeing this in newspapers....and realize that this is nothing more than a man made doctrine ,and maybe start questioning the blood issue.

  i acknowledged that i knew what it was about, and had asked her why they dont accept the wine and bread.

  we had a discussion about that, with me stating that the bible only gives a heavenly hope, not an earthly one.

  I don`t know whether this can help or not ,just a suggestion: Way back in the 60`s or 70`s their was a year text and calender about the 3 hebrews in the book of daniel ch.3. who would not bow down, as this would be seen as an" act of worship". C.T Russell and his followers took note of the scripture in php.2:10 "in the name of jesus every knee should bend" as an indication jesus was to be worshipped ,which they did.Since then that idea has been disbanded by the borg. The scriptures have never changed these past 2 centuries ,however the watchtowers interpretations of scripture have changed numerous times in 130 odd years.
