Im sick of my life

sorry but i really feel like i need to rant right now.

recently my dad was made an elder so my family has been doing a lot more "theocratic" activities lately.

every morning i wake up and put on my itchy dress and stupid makeup and heels and then pretend that i love what i'm doing and that everybody is my friend when in reality i feel horrible and all the other teenage girls at my hall hate me for some reason.

Depending on how old you are , at a guess I would think mid-teens , you have your whole life ahead of you , learn to play the game .Do minimal "theocratic" activities as you can get away with ," female issues" are a good excuse , pursue your interests on the side if possible , either through the internet , the local Library ,etc.

But be prepared to face in the future if your parents did disown you simply because you wanted out of the religion , do they really "love" you ?,Do they have your interest at heart ? or are they just trying to save face in a corrupt organization ,that does not have your interest at heart.

If that is all you mean to them ,then maybe you are better off without them .This might sound harsh but I speak from experience .

My D.I.L. who is a wonderful woman , left the religion nearly twenty years ago , and her parents siblings will have nothing to do with her ( and they are not the ideal J.W.`s either I might add ) and in my view they don`t deserve her , it is their loss not hers.

I wish you all the best in whatever you decide to do .

hello and thanks to everyone for participating on this forum it has really been of much value, for those of you that post here know that your words are not lost you never know who is reading your expressions, lives are being changed and nonsense challenged.

i’m not much of a writer so excuse my untrained writing style and grammar but i want to share my story to help anyone who is visiting here to see that we are real people, fathers, mothers, sons and daughters who have come here for answers, there is no agenda, just searching for truth.

i hope my story will help others as so many here have helped me..

If God ,Jehovah ,Yahweh , or whatever YOU want to call him , doesn`t / hasn`t identified which Bible version , translation you should be using after 2000 years , shouldn~t you be concerned ?

Different Bible Translations do give different interpretations to certain texts .

Different Bible Translations also have different books

Some books are regarded by one religion as Apochrypha but not by another religion

Some Christian Religions have different books than other christian religions,

We are now over 2000 years since the last books of the Bible were written and this debate is still going on ?

Where in the world is the GOD of the Bible been these past 2000 years ?, He certainly has not been here .

when you went to an "assembly" did you wear a badge?

it embarrassed me.

when i was young my folks made me wear one and i opened it up and took the paper out making it look like it fell out.

after my folks ask what happen i said i dont know.

Not only did I wear a badge as my wife and children did , but before the international Convention in 1962/3 ? in Melbourne ,I had a huge poster advertising the convention on our large window facing the street ,I don`t think anybody in our congregation had one .I also had bumper stickers on my car advertising the Convention .

and at that time we were in a housing comission house not long after we were married,I`m surprised we were never told to take it down , or for that matter somebody throwing a rock through our window .

I was proud to wear a badge , I must have been a real dickhead ,sad to say.

Is anybody here giving any thought to the poor bastard (brother ) she cheated on in her marriage ?

I can only imagine what he was/is going through

How would you feel if your marriage partner cheated on you so early in your marriage ? Low self esteem , alcohol dependency , drug abuse , suicidal tendency`s ,the glares and Judgemental attitudes of the witnesses in your congregation , the avoidance some give you , and the rest who just do not know what to say to you so they avoid you .?

Think about the brother who was wronged

My son went through this crap ,and my wife and I went through years of agony trying to get him through this betrayal ,his wife slept with his "best friend" , and you know what? the Elders , Co`s ,J.W.`s in his congregation were useless as far as my son was concerned and equally so with my wife and myself , that was the final nail in the coffin , they have no idea how to deal with problems.

They think the Bible gives them knowledge of everything , when in fact it gives them nothing .

United States baptism stats 1969-2015

whenever the new yearbooks come out, we all look at the figures and see the publisher increase never really matches up with the baptism figures.

it never should match up as all newly baptized ones are already publishers, and may have been for many years.

i, as an example, became an unbaptized publisher at age 11. i didn't get baptized until i was 17. .

I can`t be specific about numbers , but my memory tells me in the 1960`s , 70`s a ball park figure of D.F persons was on average each year was 60,000 Jehovah`s Witnesses , admittedly many/some of them got re-instated , possibly a third ? they never did, as far as I can recall give a number for those who stopped attending meetings to never return.

If you lived in O.T. Bible times you would have been stoned to death , think about that.

To have an affair to get out of a marriage you went into with your eyes open , and then want to be re-instated to a religion you don`t believe in , just to have social normalcy with family and friends , and then plan to fade ,so you can keep those relationships alive , while at the same time marrying the person who was complicit in your plan to commit adultery , I`m aghast , you are one conniving , manipulative woman who is self indulgent .

As much as I hate the WTB&TS , I hope they throw the book at you for what you have done to your ex and what you plan to do .

No more reporting time for field service!!!

so at last i am in my next step of my fade, this month is the first month i did not turned in any hours.

i received a text from our group leader an ms & i told him i didn't have any to report, then of course it got bumped up to the elder & i text him back i have no hours to report for december.

i came to this decision when reading many posters here about the yearbook stats, i do not want & refused to contribute to this organization "boosting" numbers for their glorious purposes, after the rc in australia they do not deserve for me to give them a "production" report of what i do for god, no more.

Remember this important fact :

"The only power they have over you is the power you give them"

They have NO power OR authority over you unless YOU give it to them

Do not fall into that trap.

It is as you said your worship to God is between you and him alone nobody else , when they try to badger you say , It`s between me and my God and nobody else , thank you for your concern , and say nothing else to them , do not engage in conversation as they will try to trap you in your words.

New WT pdf tells children to report. Irony?

" and follow through with the proper authorities?

When G.Jackson was brought before the A.R.C. he said words to the effect ," if all states in Australia had mandatory reporting laws , we would not have this problem of 1006 cases of child abuse not being reported to the authorities by Elders of Jehovah`s Witnesses " Which by the way means 3,018 Elders that did not report it , that is to say 3 on a judicial committee times 1006 =3018 .

So G.Jackson was effectively blaming the Australian Government for their not reporting Child sexual abuse in there midst.

So he was in effect trying to pass the buck onto the Australian Government.

The mind boggles
