  Why Me?

  it the question that i have found myself constantly asking myself the past few months.

  out of all the jws i interact with, why did it have to be me that woke up from this mess?.

  i am relieved that i have woken up to the bullshit, but a side of me misses that fuzzy feeling of being a 100% believer.

  Why me ? I thank my lucky stars it was me who did wake up , I sure ain`t thanking any GOD .

  Having serious doubts but saying, ' still, it`s the truth' isn`t that what cognitive dissonance is ? in a nutshell ?

  Then the other cop out is," Well even if it`s not the truth it sure is the best way to live "

  Seriously ? Cult mind control at it`s best.

  However I know what some of you are saying ," ignorance is bliss" but really do we want to be conned and manipulated by others for the rest of our lives ?

  i find it very sad that people have limited choices as to whether they wish to stay or leave watchtower.

  many are simply held captive as a result.

  fear of losing family and friends being the biggest factor.

  Peer Pressure amongst witnesses

  have you noticed just how strong peer pressure is amongst witnesses?.

  the desire to match or better one another's "spiritual accomplishments" or decisions in life?.

  pioneering - because it is the "right" thing to do.. answering at meetings...perhaps multiple times - because it is the "right" thing to do.. choice of employment.

  hey y'all, .

  i'm not sure about you, but i occasionally get those days where i feel a bit down, as if i have no friends.

  i do have a number of great friends, though, and am very thankful for them.. i think it might have to do with the residual programming of having a "worldwide brotherhood".

  Why all the secrecy in Gods organisation?

  looking back and seeing all the secrecy and cover ups throughout wt history such as the secret elders books, the branch correspondence guidelines, the shameful lying and deceipt exposed during the arc questioning, the in-house way of dealing with things, the lack of openness to the media on issues such as blood or child abuse or anything controversial for that matter.

  could this relate in some way to russell's alleged past as a freemason?

  it seems quite strange that the founder of the bible students quite possibly may have been a freemason, (an organisation well known for its secrecy).

  Is it just me or is their no program about Jesus on this 3 day Convention.?

  After all , he has been ruling invisibly in the Heavens since 1914 Hasn`t He ?

  I would have expected by now , to have a 5-7 day Convention highlighting all the achievements /blessings to the Jehovah`s Witnesses they have received this past 102 years since his rule started .

  Sadly all I seem to see is , new light , new light , new light /,adjustments , adjustments , adjustments, evidently this evidently that ,flip flops here ,flip flops there ,back flips.and not one of their expectations has ever materialized in over 137 years since C.T.Russell started this religion.

  Without trying to be facetious , is the Holy Spirit on Drugs ?

  Definetely / Absolutely , no evidence of Holy Spirit Direction anywhere in this 102 year supposed rule of Christ Jesus.

  Tell your J.W.family , you were always taught that Jehovah provides for his faithful servants , why isn`t he providing for you ?

  You have cut us off , not even seeing our child all this time ,and you expect D.F. persons to bail you out of your financial problems ?

  Where is your J.W.family `s help ? The G.B.`s help ? We hear about it all the time in the W.T., the Awake,J.W.org.,how come they are not helping you.?

  The Organization is reaping millions of Dollars in their Brooklyn sales of property , and their sale of branches all over the world , so surely they can help you .?

  The best I can offer you is ...Wait on Jehovah ,Trust in Jehovah ....He will provide .

  We need all the money we have to provide for our child , health ,dentistry ,education ,for the next 20 years , so you can understand we are not in a position to help at this time .

  Oh by the way , when can we expect a visit from you to greet our child ? Since you haven`t done so yet ?
