  Hidden message in JW bunker video?

  so, i was speaking with a relative recently, who is "in" the borg, but is completely aware of the terrible hypocrisy from the gb down.

  he is not in the box, and its great to be able to have a realistic, and logical discussion about the current state of the org.. we started discussing, specifically, about that bunker video that was released in december.

  how it is being played at all the conventions.

  l was just wondering if they actually get off their fat plump bums (over fed) and set an example of door to door witnessing..

  I believe they give the appearance of going D2D , and they may even give token service once in a while , and "stage settings" for magazine articles to boost the morale of the members.

  I dont believe they would do even 10 hours of actual D2D witnessing in any given month like they expect the average publisher to do.

  In other words we want you, the rank & file members of the Congregations , to pay the fines and penalties imposed on us by the secular Authorities , for our negligence in protecting your children from child molesters and pedophiles , that we protect in the Congregations , whether they be Elders , Ministerial Servants , or any other Holy Spirit appointed Servant .

  We also want to thank you for being so gullible , for not seeing the true reason for this letter.

  Good point you have brought up The Searcher ,but I think "appears " should be replaced with "certainly"

  What with values of land /properties of today as against the day when these properties were first purchased.

  I couldnt agree with you more.......but where ?

  I have my own thoughts on that , but who knows , maybe we will read about it in the newspapers one day.

  And they still solicit for money ,asking children to give up their allowance ( ice cream money ) to donate to the Society ? using animated characters such as Sopia ?

  in the netherlands, an action going on to get two brothers from sierra leone a residence permit.. the men fled the horrible civil war in their country when 14 and 11 years old.

  without parents.. they have now lived in the netherlands more than half of their lives.

  they are well educated, have nothing in sierra leone and everything in the netherlands.

  How does it compare with not joining labor unions ...? Are we talking about unions in the workplace ? If so , JW`s have never been against membership in a workplace union .

  And their was a time JW`s went to bat for one of Christendoms religions in a court of law regarding charging the public for religious material ,tapes,magazines etc. which led to the society not asking for donations for the WT & Awake magazines.

  I`m with you AA ,that these guys should be allowed to stay in the Netherlandsconsidering the circumstances .

  With the sale of all their properties in New York , millions of dollars ,and these properties for sale in London ,no doubt reaping more millions of pounds/euro`s .

  So much for their not for profit status .

  Religion is a snare and a racket , the only truth that ever came out of this Publishing/Real Estate empire.

  My wife and I were baptised in 1960 , we both have been out since 1993 and I couldnt count on our fingers and toes together , the amount of changes , backflips, and new light that has supposedly brought these people closer to a spiritual paradise..

  Do Jehovah`s Witnesses today enjoy a spiritual paradise ? After 102 years of Jesus Christ reign as an invisible King ? Ruling over his Congregations ? What have they really achieved ? in this 102 years ? What in effect has JESUS achieved ? in ruling over his congregation ?

  So to answer your question a helluva lot has changed with the organization with regard to doctrines , procedures within the organization , and what is now acceptable and not acceptable regarding their blood no policy.

  while reading the magazines the other day it occurred to me that jws never really had a very good answer to that question.

  because it was aimed at young people and it said something along the lines, "if you believe in god you have a purpose, but if you don't believe in god your life has no purpose or meaning".

  i think that is a faulty analysis of the situation.

  What is the purpose of life ? A good , fair enough question !

  For starters , who said "Life has to have a purpose" ? Imperfect humans relying on their own limited understanding.of the world and the Cosmos.

  It is quite possible , probable even , that life does not have a purpose.

  The average "Witness" has no comprehension of the size , scale , vastness , of the Universe ,

  Life is just what it is , life , stop trying to find a meaning to it .
