it's doing the rounds but i've not seen it before.. explaining your beliefs about homosexuality.

here are my thoughts on each question on the pages:.

I have given my view on the post "Is homosexuality normal"

Briefly it states :

The Bible gives a distorted view of homosexuality as one of lust and sexual gratification .

The reality is of a long time commitment in a loving relationship whether a male or a female union.

Marriage between male and female is not without its disasters,and nothing to write home about.

Males and females are known to be promiscuous in male/female marriages ,heterosexuals.

Ignorant people hone in on the sex act of homosexuals ,ignoring the lifelong commitment of love and devotion these people have toward each other.

They deserve to be recognised as equals in society.

atomant , are you sexist ? you ask is it normal for two guys going at it as you put it .

Whats your position about two girls going at it ? is that normal in your eyes ?

Your making the mistake of many uninformed bigoted , ignorant people , and honing in on the sex act that loving couples have a right to enjoy.

However , Gay and Lesbian relationships are by far, much more than the physical attraction , its also about commitment to one another through thick and thin ,with a lifelong relationship ,which may include children and family.

And that should not be denied to them because of predjudise.

Sure their are homosexuals who are promiscuous who dilly-dally with multiple partners ,and are you saying their are no heterosexuals who dont engage in the same activitys ?

Should all male/female unions be banned because of the philandering ,promiscuous males ? or females ?

The male /female marriage arrangement is by no means perfect , in fact far from it , with all the breakdowns /violence/seperations/divorces and their on going effects on society and children involved .

The Bible gives a very distorted view of homosexuality , one of lust and self gratification .

But that is not the reality with long time gay and lesbian relationships.

Their union needs to be recognised by society as equals and not discriminated against.

And by the way , I am not gay.

i asked an old jw friend of mine why so many baptized individuals leave the jw religion.

"did it ever occur to you, old friend, that maybe they know something that you don't know and have valid reasons for leaving?

", i asked.. his response set me back for an answer.

Your old friend is an idiot,rationalising his pig headed stupidity to justify his blindly staying in the religion , because he himself is doing so out of pride ,refusing to admit he has been conned into believing in a religios cult.

Bible Contradictions regarding forgiveness & revenge...Not a trustworthy moral guide

recent broadcast have gerrit losch talking about not holding a grudge and in septembers broadcast david splain talking about not demanding an apology after being wronged.

the subject of forgiveness and revenge is one of many examples of moral contradictions in the bible.

the book 1984 mentioned the terms double think and double speak.

china has just switched on its 500 metre diameter radio telescope, nearly twice as large as the previous largest.

among other things it is tasked to do, it will eventually be programmed to look for and analyse radio waves that may have a non-natural origin.. so will the scientists manning this facility eventually hear yhwh and jesus having a chat?.

Thanks for posting this you Old Goat , very interesting to see their earlier beliefs and how they have rationalised their subsequent changes with the excuse of New light , however they fail to mention the Old light was from the Holy Spirit also.

Old light given to JW`s , by Holy Spirit for a time as new light ,then discarded .

New light now given to JW`s by Holy Spirit for a time , then discarded as old light , and needs to be replaced by New light.

How many times has the light bulb been changed over these past 140 ? years ?

How many brain cells need to be replaced in Jehovah`s Witnesses heads before they wake up to the truth about the truth ?

Any Others of the "Anointed"?

i was baptized in 1985, was a regular pioneer, ministerial servant, and on the way to becoming an elder when i left the witnesses in 1999. i also was one of those who claimed and (at the time ) believed i was one of the anointed.. i am wondering if there are any others here who also claimed they were of the anointed?

how did you come to that conclusion?

how do you feel about your claim now that you are out?.

Do the GB members believe it when an individual claims they are of the anointed ? No of course not they never have. Whether they be male or female , and especially not females.

I have been in a couple of KH `s where one or two have claimed to be of the anointed class , the sister was not treated any differently than any other sister,and of course she had no priveledges as such , not even cleaning out the toilets ,or handling the mikes.She was to be in subordination like the rest of the sisters.

The brother, was not an Elder or even a Minisrerial Servant , and apparently he didnt even have any priveledges either.

So my point is , the anointed are going to rule with Christ Jesus for a thousand years from heaven , yet here on earth in the Christian Congregation of Jehovah`s Witnesses , they are not even given the lowliest of assignments to serve their brothers and sisters.

If the Congregations are truly led by Holy Spirit , surely the anointed on earth would be given due recognition. My understanding is, no anointed ones in any of the Congregations worldwide have any responsibility in any congregation , and certainly no sisters do.

Illustrations in WT publications of the anointed in heaven show all of them having beards , not one of them is depicted as a sister.

They may argue their is no gender in heaven ? So why are they all shown up as males ? with beards ?

Maybe they will own up to the fact they have been" witnessing "about a Catholic GOD Jehovah ,and not the Biblical GOD Yahweh for the past 100 years or so.
